A Different Way To Finding Each Other

Jack Trouble

Jack Adams Foster was at his new best friend's home, Benjamin Potter Novak and they are in the same class. The two nine year old boys were playing with Ben's superheroes as Jack over the year decided that he could like all superheroes and not just one. He realized that Caleb was right and liking only one was limiting him to all of the other superheroes and friends. Darby only liked Captain America like he did and now Benjamin he realized likes them all like Caleb.

"So you only liked Captain America?" Benjamin asked. "And what is that?" 

"My brother Caleb's signed Marvel and DC superheroes collection and he doesn't know I have it," Jack replied. He was scared and worried he would get in trouble.

"Why are you scared?"

"I went into his room to get it and when he notices it is gone. He will know it was me," Jack replied. "We aren't allowed to go into someone else's room and take something."

"Why don't you have them?"

"I didn't like them at first and I only liked Captain America."

"But you are older than Caleb," Benjamin replied.

"His dad got them for him and he's not my dad," Jack replied. "My adopted dad was murdered and my real dad and mom gave me up for adoption."

"Oh," Benjamin replied. "My two Aunts adopted me and AJ."

At the Adams Foster home, "MAMA!" Caleb cried out. Lena made a mad dash to her two bio boys shared room and eyed the broken bedroom window and Lena knew it wasn't Caleb or Callum. 

"Get on the beds and I will clean this up," Lena replied as the two boys got on the bottom bunk and Caleb's eyes went wide. His entire collection of Marvel and DC superheroes that were signed were gone and that was all. 

Lena returned with a the broom and dustpan and eyed Caleb near the window. "Caleb Leonard!"

The boy looked down and bit his lip. "I said on the bed."

"Sorry mama," he replied as the tears slipped for his stolen stuff as he walked toward the bed. 

"Anything missing?" Lena asked.

"Yeah. My entire Marvel and DC superheroes," he replied. "The autograph ones that daddy got for me," Caleb whined. "And I know who took them!"

"Who?" Lena asked.

"Jack. Who else. His new friend likes superheroes and I bet you he took them to Ben's house to show them off. He doesn't have superhero stuff like me."

"I guess," Lena replied. "And I hope not."

"And there is a way to find out," Caleb added. "It has GPS on each of them."

Robert texted Lena the frequency and it pinpointed it to 2102 Cherry Lane. Nate read the address. "Well?" Caleb asked.

"2102 Cherry Lane," Nate replied.

"See mama I told you," Caleb added as Lena sighed. Jack had broken a window and took things  from her baby bubba and the mama tiger in her went off.

"Nate can you watch the boys I will be right back," Lena replied. He nodded.

Lena ranged the bell at 2102 Cherry Lane and the door opened and Abigail Potter Novak opened the door and she eyed Lena and she appeared confused. "Is something wrong Lena?" Abigail asked.

"I need to see Jack please," Lena replied. "Can you take me to him?"

"Sure," Abigail replied as she led Lena to her son Benjamin's room. 

Jack eyed his mama and knew why she was there and Lena eyed her now in trouble son and he looked scared. "Mama I," he replied.

"Don't mama  me," Lena replied. "You know what you did wrong and I came for what you took from Caleb."
