Ana Maria Gutierrez knew the signs all too well and knew she was pregnant in her heart and that the IVF took. She did it to see if she can be a mother or if she is doomed to be a failure at it and she took a take home test to see if she was pregnant and it came out she was, but she also made an appointment to see a Doctor to confirm her pregnancy for sure and start to be a good mother to her baby or babies.
Doctor Samara Jones saw Ana Gutierrez and smiled wide. "You are pregnant and the IVF took."
Ana smiled in a huge way as she cried tears of happiness as she touched her tummy and smiled wide. She was older this time and wiser and the therapy was working. In her mind she needed to prove to herself she could be a mother and prove others wrong. But in the end, this baby or babies will not have a father since she did IVF and she knew Mike would hate her, but she wanted something of him. Yes, she has Ian and Isabella but they live with Mike full time and with Nicole as well and it hurt her, but she wanted something to call her own.
She held up her head and walked into the bakery of her mom and dad and remembered as a little girl how she worked with her mama most days after school, while her brothers go to play all the time with their friends. Ana was the only one of her siblings who knows what work really is and what it means to work and earn money and save it.
She put those bad memories aside as she walked into the bakery and Elena Gutierrez smiled wide as her smile faded as she eyed her daughter. Seeing her was painful and it brought shame to see her since she knew after all these years how wrong it was of her and her husband to treat their daughter like that in her childhood and no wonder she was the way she turned out.
"What are you doing here?" her dad asked. Deep down, he was happy she was home.
"Love," Elena replied. "Our daughter has come home and we need to rejoice," she said as she and her husband hugged the daughter they kept, but hurt deeply as she hugged them back. Her three brothers heard their mom crying and ran out as they were shocked and upset, mad and happy and excited and ire with her, but they hugged her.
The family of six hugged and wept and the brothers never realized how much their sister did for them. "So why can't you get Mariana out? The only reason you were sent back to prison was the mistaken identity," her twin brother Andres said.
"I'm a liability and I got them once back before and even if it wasn't me they don't want to take any chances. But Mariana is off her rocker and she hits and hurts girls and I need to think about Ian and Isabella."
"You got your rights back?" her parents asked as she nodded.
"I did and I got a new place with the money I got from the settlement. It's near Mike's home."
"Do you have pictures of your kids?" her two older brothers asked.
"I do. All of them in fact and what they look like now," she added as she pulled out a few.
"Who are these two?" her mom asked.
"Mason and Madison. They will be fifteen soon. This is Jesus and he will be eleven soon and this is Mariana soon to be eleven and there are Ian and Isabella and they will be four soon."
"Cute kids," her dad replied. "They look like you."
"Thank you," she added. "My three oldest kids are adopted, my middle daughter is in a shelter and my two youngest call another woman mommy. I failed all of my kids."
"We failed you too and I hope you can forgive us," her parents replied.
"Of course," she added. "I do forgive you."
"What now?" her twin asked.
"I will get a chance to be a good mother," she replied as she got her parents hands as they felt her small eight week baby bump.
