"What do you mean I can't be in the fourth grade?" AJ asked in a yell. Both moms expected his reaction and Stef gave him a glare and he stopped and bit his lip. He counted to ten.

"Young man!" Stef replied. "This is not how we go about it."

"Your school credits can't transfer over," Lena replied. "I was just informed by Principal Karina Sanchez. It's done and over with and we can't do anything about it. Not all schools have the same school system."

"It's not fair. My parents get murdered, we had to move, I lost my friends, I wasted a whole year of school and I can't be in the fourth grade. I have to take the third grade over!"

"It wasn't a waste," Lena replied. "Education never is."

"Well to me it is mama. You don't know anything," he replied as he ran up the stairs to his loft and all you heard was a slam of his door. Both moms cringed.

"He got some bad news today," Stef replied.

"I get it, but it's not the end of the world and it is not the way we handle our problems," Lena replied. "True, but when can he catch a break?"

"We can be there for him and therapy helps," Lena replied. Dave Rossi called and he was sending a surprise for the boys.

"What is it?" Lena asked. "We need to know."

"Hamsters!" Dave replied. "Aaron had them ordered and they just came in."

"Oh Dave. We can't. Matthew and Max are allergic to rodents and I found out when Hailey and Aaron visited a few years back. They can't take medication either."

"Rodents?" he asked over the phone.

"Guinea pigs, Hamsters, Chinchillas and pet Mice," Lena said.

"I never knew. I will send them back and explain."

"Do the boys know?" Stef asked as she took the phone from Lena.

"They do," Dave replied. "But they can't come now and it's fine."

The phone call ended and the moms sighed.

AJ was fuming in his room and Jack went to see him. "AJ?"

"WHAT?" he asked and sighed. "Sorry Jack."

"I heard about what happened and I'm sorry. At least we are getting the Hamsters right?"

"Yeah," AJ said as the older twins eyed them both.

"Hamsters? Moms won't allow it," the twins added.

"Our dad got them for us and they are coming," AJ said. "So there."

"Yeah," Jack replied. The older twins shrugged and walked away.

"AJ. Jack. Mama and I need to talk with you. It's urgent," Stef replied.

"What's up?" Jack asked.

"Dave called," Lena replied.

"The Hamsters?" the two boys asked.

"Yes and we need to talk," Lena replied. "It's about them."

"We um can't have rodents here," Stef added. "Matthew and Max are allergic."

"Rodents?" Jack asked confused since he is only five.

"We can't have our Hamsters?" AJ asked since he understood the term.

"No you can't. Matthew and Max are allergic to rodents and Hamsters are considered rodents."

"Can they take medication?" AJ asked.
