"Can I help you?" Jeremiah Greene asked as he eyed the two cops. He looked scared and worried as he let them in. "Come in. What's this about?" he asked as he eyed the two cops.

"Your son Jonathon Greene," Mike replied. "He hurt four kids yesterday at Anchor Beach."

"Um and?" he asked.

"Two of them are my sons," Mike replied. "And their two siblings."

"Mike's sons are my sons' too. And the other two kids I adopted," Stef replied.

"He made a mistake," his dad replied.

"We talked with kids at school. He is a bully," Stef replied. "If you don't control his behavior soon others will do it for you."

"Is that a threat?" he asked. "I will call my good friend Robert Quinn."

"Jr. or Sr.?" Stef asked. "And how do you know them?"

"Sr.," he replied. "I know him since my dad and him are good friends."

"Well the girl your son hurt is my adopted daughter and she is Robert Quinn Sr. granddaughter," Stef replied.

"How?" he asked. "You are lying."

"Robert Jr. is my adopted daughter's daddy and that makes her Robert Quinn Sr. granddaughter. She is a triplet. Two boys and a girl. I married her mama who used to be married to Robert Quinn Jr."

"Did she leave him too?" he asked.

"Um no. The other way around and it's a long story. Why?"

"Um nothing," he replied. Mike saw it in his face. It mirrored his own when Stef left their marriage since she decided she needed to be true to herself and be with a woman. Mike sighed and realized his sons were spared the negative aspects of same sex families. Mike figured this man's son got the negative side and not the positive.

"Where's your wife?" Mike asked.

"She left me. My kids and I caught her in bed with her best friend and secret lover," he replied. "It broke me. And them. Janna destroyed our family."

"From the beginning?" Stef asked.

"Very well," he replied. "It was five years ago."

"What happened?" Mike asked.

"My kids and I came home early. My kids Jeremiah Jr. ,Jackson and Janelle are my older children from my late wife and are triplets. My wife and I have twins Julian and Justin, as well as Jeremy and Jaydon, and Jonathon and Jennifer. My triplets were fifteen at the time, Julian and Justin were twelve and Jeremy and Jaydon and Jonathon and Jennifer were four at the time.

"And?" Stef asked.

"Caught my wife Janna and her best friend and secret lover, Stacie. She sent me the divorce papers and she signed her rights away to all the kids. I mean the ones we had. The two youngest sets of twins are all adopted from the foster care system when they were two and they were adopted together and came from the same baby foster care group home."

"We are sorry. But it seems that Jonathon hates same sex couples," Stef replied.

"I'm not sure how," his dad replied. "I never once said anything negative."

"He needs help," Stef replied. "And fast before he upsets the wrong person."

"Also this isn't about what you told him. This is about what he saw," Mike replied.

"I never considered that," Jeremiah replied. "I never did."

"And if he has behavior issues, you might want to get him help. This might be something his biological parents passed on."
