Summer In Chico

Lena sighed as she eyed all the adults in her family, as well as Robert and his parents and his two grandparents. "What's going on?" Stef asked.

"I have a conference for school all summer in Chico Convention Center," Lena replied. 

"And we all have our cop conferences in Chico for the whole summer as well," Stef replied.

"And I have a summit," Dana replied at California State University, Chico.

"And I'm being trained in Chico," Nate replied. "And Timothy will be with you."

Lena nodded. "I enrolled all the kids as well as the other five kids in summer school at Mountain Beach Community Charter School."

"So what are you getting at?" Stef asked. "Love?"

"I talked with Robert and he and his dad will be in Chico for business summit and they have opened the home for us and Sam Cooper and his Quads are coming as well as Jackson Owens and his Quads. Jackson has a foster care conference a mile past Chico and his two sisters Savannah and Samantha will come as well."

"And Robert's mom, grandfather and grandmother."

"And the pets will be at the pet hotel," Robert replied. 

"And the Riviera Rossi family is coming as well," Lena replied. "Micah was hired to teach at the school and Jack will be the only kid in the regular middle school."

"And Stef I need to talk with you," Robert Jr. replied as the blonde nodded.

"We will be a filled mansion," Stef replied as she followed Robert to the kitchen. "What's up?"

"Mike never put in a RSVP," Robert replied. She sighed and nodded.

"He might have plans," Stef added. "It's fine and he knows the rules."

Robert nodded and left to see Lena for logistics. 

"We are all staying in Chico for the whole summer?" Jack asked. 

"Yup," Lena replied. "And you are all enrolled at Mountain Beach Community Charter School. Jack you are in the regular middle school for sixth grade, the rest of you are in the advanced part for your new grades."

"Any questions?" Dana asked as Callie raised her hand.

"Yes baby girl?" Lena asked. Callie smiled.

"Will Anchor Beach take the credit from Mountain Beach?"

"Yes. Mountain Beach, Forest Beach and Anchor Beach Charter School's are sister school's," Lena replied as Jack raised his hand. "Yes Jack?" Lena asked.

"Can I invite Ben?" he asked.

"No. His moms would need to come and we don't have the room and the registration closed last week," Lena replied.

"Oh," he replied as he nodded.

"What about dad? Is he coming?" Brandon asked.

"No as far as we know. He hasn't made an RSVP," Robert replied. "And I texted him."

"Oh, he might have plans already," Bradley replied. 

Three weeks later, was the last day of school for the summer and Lena wiped her tears as she eyed the Promotion Ceremony for the advanced and regular elementary school students and the advanced went first. Lena cried as her six youngest babies passed elementary school and will start middle school for the first time as sixth graders in the new school year. An hour later, the three oldest were promoted to high school.

"You okay?" Robert asked Lena.

"Feels like I just signed up our three babies and the little twins for preschool," Lena replied as Stef ran up and took a seat next to her wife as Robert recorded the Promotion Ceremony with his video camera as the Adams Foster extended family cheered and clapped the students along.
