Chapter 58 - The Reception

"Ladies and Gentlemen, here is the moment you have all been waiting for........Mr. and Mrs. Ginuwine Elgin Haughton!", the DJ said as the large doors to the ballroom opened and Ginuwine and Mariah entered.

Now that the cermony was over, it was now time for the reception. Only a small number of guests were invited and children weren't allowed because there was gonna be some serious partying going on.

The crowd burst out in cheer and applause as Ginuwine and Mariah made their way over to the dancefloor for their first song together.

After weeks of Mariah struggling through dance lessons, Ginuwine suggested that they have a first song together instead of a first dance.

Soon the live band began to play the opening to 'Thank God I Found You', and they were both handed microphones so they could sing to each other.

"I love you so much baby", Mariah mouthed to Ginuwine as she waited for her verse to begin.

"I love you too my queen", he mouthed back with a grin on his face.

She grinned back and looked right into his eyes as she began to sing.
