As soon as the entire family was finished getting ready they met up downstairs, a hint of bacon still lingered in the room. "Are we all ready to go?" Mallix asked with Kaila on his hip.

"I think so." Lain's checked that her purse was on her, she had already packed a small bag for Kaila inside the car filled with toys and other necessities.

"Perfect, lets go." They walked out into the garage, Kaila was stunned to see how many beautiful cars they had.

They had passed at least five cars before Kaila's admiration came out to loud and it caught their attention. "You like this one baby?" Mallix asked bouncing her slightly.

She nodded. Lain put her things down in the car as Mallix went to help put Kaila in. In the backseat was a car seat made specifically to hold her.

At first the seat was a little uncomfortable, and as Mallix reached behind her arms and in between her legs to buckle her in she couldn't help but feel like a child.

Once Mallix got into the drivers seat and opened the garage, the loud engine started as they drove away. Lain was in charge of music which meant either classical or Disney songs played in the car.

The rhythmic tunes filled Kaila's ears as she bopped around to the sound of the beat. Mallix looked through the rear view mirror seeing Kaila doing so, he reached over the center piece and grabbed hold of his wife's hand.

After about ten minutes they pulled up to a restaurant Kaila had never seen nor heard of before. "Amor Love?" Kaila curiously asked looking at the sign above the door.

"Yup, I figured it's our first time out all together. Might as well make it a memorable one with a memorable place." He smiled back at his baby who was nervously eyeing the building and people through the window.

Lain stepped out first letting the cool breeze inside the car. Mallix went back to help Kaila out, but the second he went to open her door she protested.

Using whatever strength she had, Kaila held on as tight as she could to the car door handle hoping to keep Mallix out. But as soon as he tugged on her door, it went flying open.

She whined loudly on the verge of tears. She had thought about being here with them at home, but in public, that's another story she wasn't ready for.

"Kaila stop kicking your legs" he warned her as she threw herself around.

"Babe, need help?" Lain asked grabbing all their things from out of the car.

"No thanks babe I got this, but can you go in and get us a table please."

She nodded and walked away inside the restaurant. "Kaila if you don't stop moving then how am I suppose to let you out to come and eat with us?"

"I don't wanna eat!" She whined hitting the seat.

"Hey, baby. No hitting that wasn't very nice. Why won't you let me get you out?"

"There's people around! I don't want them seeing me this way." She gestured to her outfit and seating arrangement.

"Precious, I promise nobody is looking at you. Now please, can we not start this wonderful morning on a sour note and go have some yummy breakfast?"

"O-okay..." she muttered letting him remove her seat restraints and pulling her out.

As he set her on his hip, she tried wiggling to get down but he quickly laid his hand on her back pushing her to lay down on his back. "Settle down Kaila, remember nobodies going to look at you." He promised.

But Kaila couldn't help but feel all eyes on her, even if that just meant the few cars that drove past them. Those cars were enough to make Kaila want to hide her face in Mallix's neck.

Inside the building he saw Lain sitting in the front area waiting for a table. "They said it was going to be about a five minute wait. How is she?"

"She's fine, just a little shy is all. But you hear that baby, only five more minutes before we get to go find some food to put into that little tummy of yours." He coped putting Kaila down onto the seat in between the duo.

They watched as she fiddled around with her fingers, something they were catching on about when she started getting nervous.

Wanting to help comfort her both Lain and Mallix put an arm around her waist and scooted closer.

Together they had small talk as a young waitress led them to their table. One placed in the back of the restaurant away from the majority of the breakfast crowd. They were given a small room with a booth inside of it.

Kaila went to sit in the seats but Mallix pulled her out of it as another young woman came walking up with a high chair. One made big enough for Kaila to fit in.

"Thank you" Lain said taking the menu's she had and setting one down on the sides of the booth and on the edge for Kaila, who was being put into the seat by Mallix.

She didn't mind it at home, but here. Where others could see her. Kaila was wiggling as he tried putting her in wanting to sit in the booth with them.

She was whining and pouting about not wanting to be put in one. "Kaila stop this, we do not make a scene in public. Let Mallix help you into the chair or you can forget about that dress young lady." Lain scolded sternly.

Instantly Kaila went limp allowing Mallix to maneuver her small body into the chair. He pulled her close to the table as he sat and looked to his wife.

"What dress?"

"Oh, Kaila and I made a deal earlier, if she were to be a good girl all day long I would make a special dress just for her. But I don't know if a certain little someone even is behaving." She glared over to Kaila towards the ending.

"No! I'll be good!" She begged.

"I better hope you will, cause getting in here wasn't the easiest for Mallix because of you. Fix that attitude I don't want to spoil today. We're going to have so much fun."

"I will!" She raised her hands crossing her heart with her fingers.

Both Lain and Mallix laughed before looking down at the menu. They had typical menus, but sitting in front of Kaila was a child's one. One with coloring prompts, games, and smaller foods listed on it.

"Can I have this?" She pointed to a small plate of pancakes and sausage.

"Of course precious."

Soon a waiter appeared to take their orders. Mallix ordered for himself, and Lain ordered for both her and Kaila. Having someone else take that responsibility as she was sat ignored in the seat by the waiter made her feel even more like a child.
