" yah , Hae eun-ah we didn't talk in like years !" The sweet sounding of Hae eun's best friend's voice rang .
"I've missed you so much !" her excitement gleaming so much , her higher than usual pitch wavering to perfection.
" Why haven't you been picking up your calls ? " Her best friend asked , concerned , worried to her bones .
"i miss you too yunji, but it's just that i have to silent my phone due to work reasons ." Hae eun replied , answering to her friend's queries .
" We like have to meet up , ever since you left Canada we haven't met up in real life ! Mark told me he misses you a lot ." Yunji whined , wanting a reunion with her best friend of times .
"ahh mark, how are you two ?" hae eun asked , knowing yunji had been friends with mark for a long time .
"well we could better , though he's older than me , he's definitely much more childish." Hae eun could hear the scoffing of her best friend through the other side .
"found anyone yet ?" hae eun asked .
"not planning to be in a relationship anytime soon , i already have you my dear ." yunji three get flirtatious remarks as though she was aiming love arrows at hae eun .
"i love you too pretty ass bitch." hae eun chuckled .
" I'd literally turn lesbian for you , a big fat yes ." yunji joked , Hae eun chuckled , she absolutely loved her best friend so did Yunji .
"do you remember the good ol' days where we would hang out everyday ?" the sadness and dread filled yunji's voice , hae eun was brought back to memory lane where friendship was abundant.
the memories the teo had built came crashing in , remembering the happy little moments with her best friend since childhood .
"that was until your stupid ass boss told you to start your work early in morning before the birds had a chance to chant till late into the night where owls were wide awaked . i'm up to volunteer to shove him down the drain ."yunji ranted , anger filled her as she complained of hae eun's problematic boss .
"alright ma'am." hae eun chuckled .
"i'm serious , haennie!" yunji sulked , her voice attained a deeper tone to express her feelings.

"what about you , any love interest ?" yunji asked , wondering about hae eun's love life .
"not at the moment." hae eun answered , fiddling with the keys around her finger - slightly rusted yet it still had sharp and jagged surroundings .
"not at the moment , who knows , you'll meet the special one soon ." yunji teased .
the two brought into laughters as the nostalgic feeling arose , the lovely memories the two had . their friendship bloomed once again .
