"(Y/N)-san, we need help—!!"

"Oh, my." (Y/N) automatically smirked as she turned around and found Yamazaki running into her office with an injured Hijikata on his back and Sougo following behind them casually.

"Is someone injured?~" Her tone was playful as she winked at them, enjoying the red-faced Yamazaki and his innocent expressions.

"Yamazaki, stop falling for nee-san's tricks everytime. She clearly enjoys toying with you," Sougo sighed as he shook his head.

"On another note, Hijikata-san said he prefers the rough treatment for his injury."

"Wha—?! I DIDN'T!! I DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING!!" Hijikata's face went pale as Yamazaki laid him on the bed in the infirmary— which was (Y/N)'s office.

"Rough, huh? I can deal with that~" (Y/N) smirked at Hijikata, "Sou-chan, I'll need you to step out." (Y/N) hums as she places her gloves on— then she faced Hijikata.

"What'll happen from now on— are not suitable for children's eyes~" (Y/N) spoke in a low voice whike Hijikata flinched. Yamazaki's face had beaten a tomato and Sougo seemed impressed.

"As expected of my sensei! I leave Hijikata-san to your care, (Y/N)-nee!" Sougo and Yamazaki instantly disappeared and Hijikata gasped.

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

"All done~ You can go now, Hijikata-san." (Y/N) happily wiped her hands off, while a dead-looking Hijikata sluggishly walked out from her office.

"I.....will be careful from now on. I'll try to never get injured again..." Hijikata muttered to himself, looking depressed as if he just lost 10 years of his life.

"Now then~ What shall I do? It's boring around here when no one gets hurt...." (Y/N) sighs, as she places her elbow on her table and rests her chin on her palm.

(Y/N)'s eyes shift over to the small picture frame of her family, "Kuriko doesn't come over too....."

"So, your plan is?......" Takasugi looked at Kamui with a blank look on his face— not that he had much emotion to show anyways. While Kamui was still grinning at him, giving him that usual close-eyed smile he had.

"Kidnap. Kill. That's it~"

".....And this will?" Takasugi trailed off, barely raising an eyeborw at Kamui's strange offer. "Well, we just need to get those annoying police off our backs for a little while right?" Kamui hums, the look of innocence on his face almost made Takasugi forget that he was the one who came up with the idea to kidnap and kill someone.

"So, if the daughter of the director of the Shinsengumi suddenly goes missing— they'll all be busy looking for her which will then take their attention away from us~" Kamui clapped his hands, "It's a perfect plan."

"....Why does he look like he's about to cry?" Takasugi gestured to Abuto who was standing a few steps away from them and was happily wiping his tears away.

"W-Well, it's the first time Captain actually thought of a plan instead of recklessly bulldozing his way through the enemies....!"

"Well....I can't disagree with your plan." Takasugi cupped his chin, "We'll go with that, will you send your men or mine?"

Kamui smirked, "They're already on their way."

Takasugi nodded in approval and then looked at the clear blue skies of Edo through the window, "Why do I.....feel like we're forgetting something?"
