*So uh....for this fic...It's a songfic request for a song titled "Ngiti" ?? It's a Filipino song so i just researched english lyrics and did my best with what came up. OH! I also found this video on youtube where the song plays and the english translation comes up as the lyrics~

Gintoki tapped his finger against his arm as he leaned his head to rest on the wooden pillar he used as support—

He closed his eyes and sighed, relaxing his body and trying to enjoy the silence...

"WHAT THE HECK IS THIS— IS HE TELLING ME I'M A GORILLA!?"

Gintoki winced at Otae's yelling— waking from his sweet relaxation before turning to the Shimura siblings.

".....What is it? Why is it suddenly so noisy?"

"....It seems Kondo-san sent this to Sister and well....." Shinpachi sighs showing the box full of bananas and a stuffed gorilla plushie.

"I'll kill him," Otae grinned scarily.

"...Sister, if you don't want it we have to return it. He spent money on this after all." Shinpachi says looking down at the box with a sigh.

"Hah! I don't want to!" Otae yells, "If I go there I'll murder him the second I see him," She bites her nail and looks away.

"....I can't kill him in the Shinsengumi, they'll capture me right away. It has to be somewhere far....no people...no witnesses..." She whispers.

"Return it? Where?" Gintoki asked making Shinpachi turn to him.

"Where?....—The Shinsengumi of course."

"......" Gintoki looked down, his eyes widening a bit, "I'll return it for you."

"...What? You will, Gin-san?" Otae tilted her head at the man's unusual display of kindness.

"Yeah," Gintoki stood up and smiled. "I'll go down there and return it." He swipes the box from Shinpachi's hand.

"What? Really?"

"Yeah, you're coming too." Gintoki says, grabbing Shinpachi by the back of his collar.

"She's so beautiful....."

"Gin-san??"

"..Is she even real?"

"GIN-SAN!"

"SHH! Keep it down, what if she notices us here?!" Gintoki snapped, clamping a hand over Shinpachi's mouth.

"We've been standing here for about an hour. We're here to return these right? Not become stalkers too."

"....Well— but..." Gintoki's ears went red as he messily ran his hand through his hair. "She's..."

(Y/N), who was sitting there reading a book was still unaware of their presence.

'...How good would it feel to hold her in my arms?' Gintoki thought as he sighed and clutched his hair.

"Hm?" Shinpachi tilted his head, not understanding his words clearly.

"Oi, what're you doing there?"

Gintoki and Shinpachi flinched— They turn around and find Hijikata with Sougo.

"Tsk, troublesome idiots arrived." Gintoki stuck his pinky in his ear and rolled his eyes
