Requested by shortiepotato. I decided to make it a bit of a song fic. Since Project Sekai is associated with Vocaloid, I thought of using a Vocaloid song for this. The song title is the same as this oneshot's title. I just added a bit more stuff for fun. I'm not sure how this suicidal part works, but I tried my best.
Also, I decided to upload this right now because my little sister closed Genshin while I was in the middle of cooking rice. I was doing Co-op with someone and was unable to play with them. I bet they're mad that I logged out. Thanks a lot, Adrienne, you ruined my Genshin Co-op.
Disclaimer: I have nothing against Mizuki. In fact, they're my favorite Niigo member, who was replaced with Mafuyu. Mizuki is still second.

Everything turns dark, Y/N is all alone, no one to talk to other than herself. Her parents were quite abusive, if I must say. Even if she has friends, like Mizuki and Rui, she still feels this loneliness, preventing her from having the desire to see her friends. Her mind was telling her that her friends no longer want to be with her.
Her parents always pressured her to be the best. If she gets a grade lower than 97, she gets beaten up by them. It's always been like this, ever since she was young. She was never allowed to tell anyone about the beatings at home, until Tsukasa came to the rescue.
"Y/N, I can tell you're lying. What really happened?"
"I'm fine, Tsukasa-"
"You're not!" He yells. "Please tell me the truth; I won't tell anyone."
The H/C-nette sighs, "you know how I usually get 97 and above in tests? My parents want me to be the best and if I don't go by their expectations, I'll be beaten up. It's always been like this ever since."
Tsukasa gasps, "I can't believe they'd do such thing!"
The next thing you know, rumors spread. They usually spread like wildfire in Kamiyama High. Remember the rumors with Mizuki? Those rumors were slowly forgotten, leaving Mizuki relieved, but they, I mean Mizuki, couldn't help but feel bad for Y/N for having such.
"I thought I could trust you!" Y/N shouts.
"Akiyama asked me to do them a favor."
Tears immediately flow, making Y/N cry, "why? Why did you do it for them?"
"They didn't want rumors about them spreading anymore!"
Y/N felt sick to the bone; she was sick of how this beautiful cruel world works. She doesn't want the "this is the way it works" or "you're doing it wrong." She just wants it all to end.
Y/N, then, runs out of the school, only to reach a very dark place, hoping she could find light and hope. Unfortunately, she finds darkness and despair. Somebody wraps her hand, has that someone completely dyed her in black?
The kindness and warmth, given by Tsukasa before the rumors, starts to slowly fade away as the surroundings begin to change to something, like a place where people do rituals and sacrifice. Y/N started to be filled with hatred and the people doing rituals wanted her to be their sacrifice. Not only those people, but Tsukasa too.
In order to leave the world, she needs a sacrifice. Nobody was willing to be her's so why bother?
The words they spun whilst having Y/N standing in front of them. Her world quietly vanishes yet, hope is still burning in the darkness, no matter how she tried. She starts screaming in pain until she slowly begins to feel numb. 'This is for the best; maybe I no longer need to feel this pain anymore.'
Thus, she committed suicide.
Y/N wakes up from her dream of darkness, with tears in her eyes. The strawberry blonde hears her soft cries and goes to sit next to her.
"Y/N, sweetie, what happened?" He asks softly.
"I was in a dream and you were in it. Mizuki got you to spread rumors about me in school, we fought and I was a sacrifice and killed myself." Y/N answers, sobbing quietly between her sentences.
He shushes you, "you know I don't spread rumors, like that. Besides, spreading rumors is never my thing. Even if we fight a few times, we're still together. You know, the closer we are, the more we fight? And why were you a sacrifice?"
"In order to leave this world, someone has to offer a sacrifice. There was nobody to help me so I committed suicide in my dreams."
Tsukasa begins to give her cuddles and plants kisses on her cheek, hoping she'd feel better and be at ease. He began to neglect his show work for now, just to give Y/N the love she needs.
After a few minutes of cuddling and kissing, he notices you fell asleep. He lightly chuckles and gets back to work, only to have Y/N mumble something along the lines of "stay."
He affectionately pats Y/N's head, reassuring her that he'll be there after he clears his things. After doing so, he goes back to bed and sleeps with you in his arms.

Nene: This is horrible.
Andrea: Thanks, Nene, I tried.
Rui: Oya oya, a song fic?
Andrea: Yeah, and don't tell Emu; she'd be-
Emu: This is show ueueueueueueueueue! *cries*
Andrea: Yeah, that's what I mean.
Nene: Okay, Emu, let's play Genshin on Andrea's PS4.
Andrea: wHaT?!
Emu: Nene-chan spent your pink blue thingies on wishes and saved one for you.
Nene: E-Emu!
Andrea: I worked my butt off for those Intertwined Fates! Plus, I gave up on Hu Tao not so long ago.
Rui: It's okay. *pats Andrea's head*
