[Request 60] Before the Race With A "Dumbass" (Akito & ??? AU)

"Oi, dumbass, I'm here to pick ya up!" Akito calls out upon arriving at the gym of Karasuno.

Apparently, everyone in the said gym has just finished training for a volleyball match that's coming up in a few weeks, so it would definitely make sense why Akito would be here. Just then, a blonde wearing glasses and is around 180-190 cm in height snickers at a short male with ginger hair.

"Dumbass."

"Tsukishima!" The short ginger rages.

The two boys in the gym (well, mostly the short ginger trying to prove he's not a dumbass) end up arguing until...

"Hinata, you dumbass! Don't keep him waiting!" A black-haired male yells.

The ginger was on his phone and sighed. This is what he dealt with everyday at some point in his life. "Hinata" grabbed his things and ran to Akito.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, Akito!" He chuckled awkwardly.

Akito manages to smile a bit at "Hinata", "don't worry about it, Shoyo. I just told my friends I'll be a bit late and they can start without me."

"Eh? Is it really-?" Shoyo's eyes widened in bewilderment.

"It's fine, since I told them beforehand, so quit worrying and get some rest while you're at it."

"Fine. But under one condition: We race all the way home. If I win, you'll buy me meat buns."

Akito mentally places his palm to his face, "wouldn't it be easier to just buy the meat buns here, then whoever makes it home first, first gets more meat buns than the other?"

"Actually, that sounds fair, but they'll be cold until then." Shoyo sighs.

"True, but food after running is better, no?"

This is where Shoyo agrees and immediately starts running.

"Oi, dumbass! Don't forget your things!" The black-haired male calls as Shoyo makes it back to the gym to retrieve his things.

"Crap! I forgot, thanks for reminding me, BaKageyama!"

"It's 'Kageyama', Dumbass!" Kageyama retorts.

Akito just observed the scene in front and immediately thought, 'man, these two look like they fight a lot...'

Then, Shoyo finally gets a head start with the race, to which Akito found unfair, but ran anyway.

"Oi, Shoyo!" He screamed and chased after him.

Andrea: Finally! A oneshot with Akito and Shoyo from Haikyuu! To those who love sports anime and haven't watched Haikyuu, I highly reccomend it.

Akito: And this is because this Hinata dude and I look alike?

Andrea: Yeah, and it's a request I haven't had from someone on Quotev.

Shoyo: Thanks for having me, Andrea! It was fun doing this with Akito!

Akito: I must admit, I haven't heard of you guys until Andrea told me.

Andrea: 'Even though I made a Haikyuu reference in one of my oneshots before...' qwq

Akito: Yeah, I didn't get it. -_-

Andrea: Anyway, thanks for requesting this! Though there may have been some bumps along writing this, at least I managed to get some Hinata and Akito interaction. As for crossover oneshots, I'm not sure whether these will be done in the future, but we'll see~ :3
