I have never written the side characters before and it's about time we give them appreciation too, especially Kotaro, Mai, Hinata, basically the side characters. This take place during SBD by the way.

You were on your way to practice as per usual until someone with chocolate brown hair and honey brown highlights caught your attention. His fashion sense is neat, to say the least, and you had the thought he's attractive. Somehow, you ended up following him to a live house event.

The live house was packed with people who have heard of him and it seems he is up against a young boy who seems to be in high school. Considering you were good at analyzing performances, you sensed that the young boy was overworking himself and joining events carelessly. Including the fact that the male you followed seemed to be the cause of it.

Never mind putting the blame on someone you don't know. Anyway, the older male's performance. It seems like the audience, including yourself, got enraptured by his performance. The way words flew out of his mouth like a river also got you attracted to him even more. Not only that, how is someone able to have something to like about a person they don't know?

"You know, that dude is amazing." One praised.

"Yeah, but I kinda feel bad for Akito." Another pitied.

Akito? Was that the brunette's name? Now that you think about it, you had a gut feeling that the young boy is Akito, but no answers about the male with chocolate brown hair.

"It's so hard to choose!"

"I know, right? I'm so biased because I like Akito from Vivid BAD SQUAD and I also happen to like Arata."

Arata? Yeah, that's probably his name. You've heard of Vivid BAD SQUAD, but somehow, you have never seen one of their performances. That is, however, someone decided to crash the event. Someone entered the event with a male's voice being heard as the performers, who are supposedly Akito and Arata, had their eyes widen at the scene.

"AKITO!!!" Someone called.

"Wh...?!"

"Oh? Is the event over already?" A female's strong voice asks, revealing three people, one boy and two girls.

One had her long hair worn loose with star pins around her hair, whiles he pigtailed blonde looked nervous and the male with split hair seemed worried sick for the ginger. And somehow, you could even hear their conversation from where you are.

"If you're still going, we'd like to sign up last minute. That's cool, right?"

The crowd roared upon seeing the sudden turn of events.

"In an unprecedented event, Vivid BAD SQUAD makes their appearance United as one!" The MC narrated, hyping everyone up as always.

"Why are you guys...!"

"Hey, Akito, you can still keep going, can't you?"

The male sighed, "what are you talkin' about?"

"I said what I said! Let's do one more song together, all of us!" The long-haired girl suggested. "You're not just by yourself, but as Vivid BAD SQUAD."
