Thalassophile (Winx Club x Reader)

Chapter 21.

"Winx, be on the lookout for anything unusual." I instructed as I swam, I shivered slightly, the water was cold.

We were currently going through Professor Palladium's training, swimming in the water of the simulator he chose for us.

Stella giggled nervously. "Define unusual." Just when she said that a huge octopus shot out of the ground.

"That's what I define unusual!" I exclaimed, this octopus was not a normal octopus, it was huge and its red eyes glared at us.

"Yeah that's unusual!" Stella agreed.

"What is that?" Bloom questioned.

Tecna dodged one of its tentacles that tried to attack her. "It looks like some kind of giant octopus!" 

"Watch out!" Layla alerted as she avoided the tentacles, unfortunately Stella and Musa weren't so lucky and got caught, the tentacles were wrapped around them, capturing them.

"Hang on!" I shouted as I swam their way when suddenly electric beams shot out of the octopus its eyes, I leaned back, evading the attack by a second.

"Correction some kind of electric octopus." Tecna corrected.

"An electroctopus." Bloom added.

"Hey!" Musa called out.

"Let me go!" Stella snapped.

"On it!" Bloom nodded, but before she could she got caught along with Layla and Flora.

I charged in blindly, the octopus shot electric beams at me and before I could get out of the way I was hit straight on, I cried out in pain, my back collided with the bottom of the ocean, I tried to push myself up but it felt like all of my strength left my body.

"[Name]!" Tecna gasped and immediately swam to my side, she placed her hands on my shoulder, looking at me in concern.

I groaned. "Tecna.. You've got to do something."

"I know.." Tecna sighed. "I'm just not sure what."

"Help us!" Musa cried out.

"Hurry!" Stella yelled.

"Let us go!" Layla demanded.

Tecna gently let me go, I closed my eyes and concentrated on my healing magic, I relaxed when I felt slightly better and the strenght coming back.

"Aura of Sirenix!" Tecna chanted, her aura turned a bright green color as the electric sparks of the octopus collided with her, she was succesful and made the octopus let go of the girls and made the creature retreat in the ground.

"[Name], are you okay?" Bloom swam to my side and helped me up.

"I'm okay." I smiled, I then turned to Tecna. "You did it, way to go!" Our surrounding changed as we were transported back at the chamber in Alfea.

"Congratulations Tecna." Professor Palladium praised as we entered the control room. "You have found your Sirenix special spell, the Aura of Sirenix."

"Tecna you were really great back there!" Layla beamed as we entered our dorm. 

"I'll say!" Musa grinned.

"That was amazing!" I praised.

"Fantastic!" Flora agreed.

"I feel we should celebrate." Stella smiled, she used her magic to create a bunch of sparkles that showered onto us, the room was filled with our laughs.

"Well thank you but-" Tecna couldn't finish her sentence.

"That's why we arranged something special." Bloom interrupted.
