Imagine #8: Fall Out Boy Ft. You

You are a solo artist and your music career has been going up since last year. You are just glad that you and your crew had performed at the Reading Festival this year alongside with other well-known bands. For you, this is the biggest achievement you've done so far.

You and your crew had been packing your things and get on with your tour again. You had such a great time at this festival and had the chance to meet other bands like All Time Low, Twenty One Pilots, and Panic! At the Disco, but for you, there's still something missing; you didn't have the chance to talk to your all-time favorite band – Fall Out Boy.

"They probably don't know me. I'm still kinda new in the industry so I won't blame them for not knowing me," You said to one of your crew who had been pushing you to go to their room to meet them. Most of the bands that participated in the festival had been staying on the same hotel and it looks like that your room and Fall Out Boy's room are on the same floor.

You decided to get yourself a coffee down in the coffee shop of the hotel before leaving. You walked out from your room and you are shocked to find Patrick Stump standing outside and he was shocked that you suddenly walked out.

"P-Patrick Stump?" you said and you are stuttering. He is the person that you look up to anyways, it's normal for you to act like that.

"H-hey, I'm glad I'm finally able to m-meet you, {Y/N}," He said shyly to you, lending out a hand for a handshake. Of course, you shook his hand, "I just want to say that your performance was outstanding and your voice is really beautiful..." he began to compliment you. You were just shocked and blushing at the same time, you're getting compliments from your inspiration.

"P-Patrick, thank you," You said, still in shock. He gave you a shy smile while he adjusts his fedora.

"There you are, 'trick!" Pete suddenly came out from the hallway, "Hey, finally you met her. You've been talking about her since last month," He continued and you saw Patrick signing Pete to stop from talking, which you think is kind of cute, "I'm Pete Wentz, by the way! And see here, this is my friend Patrick and he's been addicted to your music for the past several months," He said and you giggled. You still can't believe that Patrick Stump is listening to your music.

"PETE!" Patrick whispered-shout at his friend, now having a blushing face, "It's not just me, you guys like her music too!" he said in defense.

"Well, who doesn't like her music? It's amazing," Both of them just kept on talking how amazing you are as a musician and singer and you couldn't hold back anymore. You began to shed tears while smiling widely.

"Holy smokes! Did we say something offending?" Patrick asked you and you shook your head no.

"You...guys – the Fall Out Boy has been my inspiration. I'm not kidding here, but really, I started my journey on this field because I was inspired by you....and.....and me hearing these compliments from the people who inspired me is really hitting me right in the feels. I can't say thank you enough," You said to them, suddenly you felt Patrick hugged you.

"W-wow, we didn't even know that we are making an impact like this. T- thank you, {Y/N}," he whispered to you. You pulled back and began to wipe your tears, giggling.

"Sorry, I'm such a cry-baby. I'm just really overwhelmed," You explained.

"Well, Patrick? I know you're going to ask her something so maybe I'll just go back to my room. Bye {Y/N}, see you again soon," Pete suddenly said with a smirk on his face then left you both.

"Oh..yeah. The boys and I have been thinking, s-since we are doing some new records we would request you to, like, work with us with few of our songs?" he asked. A huge happy smile popped in your lips and you began to nod enthusiastically.

"Of course! I'll be glad to work with you guys! I mean Fall Out Boy Featuring Me. That's all I've ever wanted!" you said excitedly.

"Well, it's settled then! Want to grab some coffee while I fill you in with some more details about it?" he said and you agreed.

The both of you went down to the coffee shop, starting to talk to each other about the future records you both are going to be working on, and also starting to know each other more.
