Imagine #129: The Torture of Small Talk With Someone I Really Love

{Wanna go on a FeelsTrip? Too late to turn back now. No, seriously. Get your tissues, friendly advice.}

It's already midnight, but you're still awake waiting for Patrick to text you. You understand that he's busy, but he didn't text you for the whole day. It's not that you're angry, you understand his situation and you know the guy just love you so much. Their tour just started last week and you've been missing him so much now.

"Goodnight, Angel. I'm too sleepy now. Gonna wait for your text tomorrow. I hope you had fun tonight with your show. Lots of love from your princess. Can't wait to be with you again." You texted him for the last time and dozed off. But you didn't know that it will be your last time to do that.

You woke up because the whole house is shaking violently. A huge earthquake is currently hitting the country. You immediately woke up, grabbed your jacket, your phone, pen and a small notebook. The magnitude is strong and you can't even walk straight. There's no electricity now and the whole house is crumbling. Of course, you are shaking and scared, but you tried your best not to panic.

You suddenly fell to the ground, this earthquake is serious. You can't even stand anymore. You crawled towards the table and stayed under there, praying that it would already stop. You looked at your phone and the network is already down. You're thinking about Patrick and you're honestly glad he's not here. You hoped that he's okay and that you'll be okay.

Your hands are shaking, your seeing the house breaking down. You started whimpering, hugging your knees as you let it happen. The earthquake has been going on for a minute now and things kept on falling and you got trapped in there. Your legs got crushed and you can't really move anymore.

"Patrick." You whimpered his name. You hated the fact that you don't have the chance to talk to him today. To tell him how much you love him. You accepted your faith, everything is crushing you slowly.

You pulled out the pen and notebook and started writing even when your hand is shaking.

"Patrick! I love you so much don't you ever forget that. Almost running you over with my car is the best-worst memory I can never forget and I'll always come back to that memory everyday." You wrote and smiled a bit when you remembered that day. "I love so much and to my eyes you're already my husband! I'm happy that your not here with me, I'm currently getting squeezed here. Haha. Don't forget that I love you okay? You are the best thing that happened to me, Angel. Once again, I LOVE YOU." You wrote and you've put all your emotions there.

You ripped the paper and crumpled it, putting it inside the pocket of your jacket. You just stayed silent there, thinking about him. You closed your eyes, just imagining that Patrick is hugging you. You just let the things happen to you.

*************

Patrick is already on the plane back to Chicago. He can't stay calm, you're alone in there and a strong earthquake just hit the country. He can't reach you now since there's no signal. And he's hating on himself not being able to talk to you the whole day.

"How long ----

"Sir you've asked me that for the fifth time now. I know you're panicking, but please settle dow . We will be ariving there after fourty-five minutes." The flight attendant said to him.

"Patrick, she'll be fine." Pete murmured.

But deep inside, Patrick feels that you desperately need him right now.

The moment the plane landed, the four of them almost lost the strength to stand. Everything is wrecked, almost everything is in ruins.

Patrick immediately run, the rescue operation is already staring and some officials are not letting people left the airport not yet.
