The Elder Princess's Manor was located in the residential area closest towards the Imperial Palace. The Prince Consort's manor was next door and between the two manor's it covered a vast area. Inside, the quarters were furbished luxuriously with expensive decor. From the outside, the two manors appeared to be independent entities, but reality was ever since the Elder Princess and the Prince Consort's eldest son, Duke Duanjun was born, the two manors were completely connected. Behind the vast gates, a man-made rive connected the two manors.

The Elder Princess Yuehua could not be considered the late emperor's most favored princess, but she was the current emperor's full-blood sister. When the late crown prince passed away and the current emperor assumed the position of heir to the throne, Elder Princess Yuehua's status also rose accordingly. When the emperor was crowned and ascended the throne, the Elder Princess had already wed and was appropriately titled Elder Princess, with the highest seniority out of all the princesses.

The Marquis Donglin Manor wasn't far from the Elder Princess's Manor. The carriage pulled to a stop before the Elder Princess's Manor in about two quarters of an hour. Liu Shuhan and the others' carriage arrived one after the other. Strange enough, Shen Liang's carriage, which had left first was nowhere in sight.

"Isn't this the Marquis Madame? It's been a long time." Upon the maidservant's usher and greeting, Liu Shuhan and the rest exited their carriages. Before they had the chance to look for Shen Liang, a slight plump noblewoman led her two maidservants forward with a wide smile on her face. With her call, the rest of the ladies and noble madames who were in line with their invitations looked over. It was inevitable. Who allowed news of the Marquis Manor to circulate and spread so fiercely amongst the noble circles?

Those from the Marquis Manor could be considered experienced themselves though and didn't falter under the gazes of the onlookers. It was just that usually, the gazes of others were filled with envy and jealousy, which satisfied their vanity, but today, their gazes were filled with mockery and disdain. Liu Shuhan and the rest of the madames from the Marquis Manor found themselves losing face, much less Shen Qiang, the young lady who was not even of age. Normally, she carried herself with pomp and was highly arrogant, and now she found her face flustered with embarrassment.

"So it's the Prefect Madame..."

"Yu!" Liu Shuhan's response was immediately cut off by the sudden approach of another carriage. It too had the Marquis Donglin Manor's emblem engraved on it. The carriage pulled to a steady stop before them and the carriage curtain was gently lifted. Qi Yue stepped out first to place the footstep out. When the curtains lifted again, the onlookers' gaze was immediately greeted by the fiery red color.

"Gorgeous!"

As Shen Liang stepped out of the carriage, gasps sounded out around him. Some couldn't help but directly exclaim their admiration. Shen Liang's beauty was too apparent. Adding on that Fu Ying and QI Yue had deliberately dressed him up today, his beauty only intensified and made others unwilling to look away. Many young ladies found their faces flustered from looking. If they didn't know any better that such a person was most likely the renowned Shen Liang, heir of the Marquis Donglin Manor, and a Ger at that, perhaps they would have long since developed their own intentions.

"Is that the original madame's son and heir of the Marquis? I heard he grew up at the countryside. Look at that temperament. One can't tell at all."

"Isn't that right? I heard he's only fifteen? He's even able to make the flamboyant red color work on him. It's as though he was born a noble. Say, it can't be that he's intended to be sent into the Palace and wedded to the Imperial Family?"

"Marquis Donglin really is a fool. Such good sons the original madame birthed him and he sent one to the Northwest and abandoned the other at the countryside? Fortunately, the two brothers didn't disappoint. Their years of hardship can be considered to come to an end now."
