The manuscript wrote down the blood transfusion technique and necessary equipment in great detail. Shen Liang's inference was right. The Nether Guards were close with Jiang Heng and there was indeed someone amongst them who had inherited Jiang Heng's equipment. The man also happened to be a nostalgic one. As long as it was something Jiang Heng made, he stored and maintained it well. Even after hundreds of years, the equipment was still useable. The Nether Guards even crafted more and there were some available for use right away. After entertaining Shen Liang, Lei Zhen went to retrieve the item himself.

"Tianshu, is that our future Wangfei?" the aura that surrounded Shen Liang today had been too oppressive. After finishing with their orders and tasks, none of the Ironclad Guards dared to approach. The old Steward Lin rubbed his hands together wretchedly as his eyes gleamed with light. What a good Ger. The duke finally made him satisfied for once in his life.

"What do you want? Old Lin, don't blame me then for not warning you now but the duke treasures the Wangfei tremendously. If you end up offending and provoking the Wangfei, he'll see to it that all your hair is plucked out one by one when the Master wakes up," before Tianshu could even respond, Yaoguang looked at him with eyes filled with vigilance and wariness. This old thing couldn't be scheming something again, could he?

Tianshu and the others shared his thought. Just how shameless Old Lin was, they had all experienced and personally witnessed before.

"What are you saying? Can't you have the self-consciousness of a Ger? This old man is just gratified. Who knows what dog sh*t luck the duke stumbled on to actually be able to find such a beautiful Ger. A beautiful flower really has been plucked and stuck inside a pile of dung," Steward Lin shook his head speciously as he said carefreely.

When Tianshu and the others heard his words, their foreheads creased with dark lines. Did he just say their Master was a pile of dung?

"This won't do. I'll should go greet the Wangfei..."

"Don't. Don't. Don't..."

"Old Lin, don't horse around..."

"Even if you want an early death, don't drag us in with you."

"You old b*stard..."

Old Lin had always been a man of action. He made the motion of heading over and immediately frightened Tianshu and the others. They hurriedly clambered forward to prevent him from proceeding in a panic. If they truly let him head over, then there's no say that when their lord wakes up, he'd still have a Wangfei to marry. If that happened, then it was highly suspected that each and every one of them would be sent to the Huanxi Tower. Wasn't this old b*stard intentionally harming them?

"Mmm. Mmm!"

"What are you doing?"

Were they making a joke out of themselves?

No one knew when Shen Liang had seated himself by the table with one leg over the other and was looking at the group of people who were pulling Old Lin back with dark lines covering their foreheads. They looked at him with expressions filled with embarrassment and awkwardness.

"Release me!" Old Lin took advantage of their awkwardness and broke free from their restraints: "This group of rascals. You've all grown quite audacious with your guts quite fat huh? Just see how this old man will deal with you all later."

After delivering them all a fierce glare, Old Lin turned around and faced Shen Liang with a wretched smile on his face.

"Old Lin, don't!"

Tianshu and the rest hurriedly chased after him. The Duke hadn't woken up yet; without him, there was no one at the manor who could control cure this old man.
