I See You Y/n | Neteyam x reader

Chapter 7

*Neteyam POV*

She's so beautiful, how could I not try and kiss her last night. But I am the reason she got hurt. Im so stupid how could I  think she would want me after yesterday. Lo'ak has a better chance than me!

We got in late last night to avoid my father and mother. But there was no hiding this morning when we woke up to shouting. 

"Wait until they wake up Neytiri!" he knows... I look at Lo'ak who is froze still and then look up at father and he turns towards me. I have never seen him this angry before. He drags me and Lo'ak up and into the centre of the hut. 

"What do you think you are doing! Fighting with the clan leaders son and his friends?! I expect better from you both, you especially Neteyam! I told you no trouble."

"Well go on, explain" he says. Mother is pacing in the background listening to every detail. 

"Sir they were picking on kiri, they called her a freak." Lo'ak explained.

My father looks pained for a second then puts his angry front back on. 

"Lo'ak Sully go and apologise to Aonung and his friends right now" he says.

"Dad are you being serious?!" Lo'ak says.

"Go now."

Lo'ak leaves the hut along with my mother leaving me with father. 

"How do the other guys look?" he asked.

"Worse..." I reply to him.

"Good" he says.

"A lot worse" I reply with a smirk.

He dismisses me and I walk out the hut. 'I need to find Y/n today and talk to her' I tell myself. 

*Y/n POV*

I wake up to the sounds of shouting. My father shouting to be exact. "Who did this Aonung?!" I walk to the area they are and Aonung is standing there, father turns round to me and goes red at the sight of me. "Tell me now, who did this to you both!" 

Aonung replies "The Sully boys..." father looks to me and Aonung smirks. 

Father storms out the hut to where i can only assume is to talk to Jake sully. I look to Aonung. His smile drops. I storm past him out the hut, there is only one place I want to be right now. In my comfort cave.

I have been here a couple hours and it was definitely needed. There has been so much drama since the Sully's arrived and I can't take it anymore. It is starting to get dark now though so I need to be heading back soon. I call my Ilu and slowly make my way back to the clan. I hear horns in the distance and start to worry. What has happened? I start to speed towards the clan but notice to my left someone on their own by one of the sea mountains. I make my way over to find Lo'ak sitting on a nearby rock. 

"Are you okay?" I ask making his jump.

"Oh yeah im fine Y/n sorry, you scared me." he replies before looking back to the open water. 

"Are you sure you're okay? Remember you can talk to me Lo'ak" I climbed onto the rock next to him. 

"Well first I feel really bad about your lip, I started the fight and you ended up getting hurt." He starts.

"Don't worry about that its old news, don't worry about me" I say with a smile to make him feel better. 

"It's not okay, then my dad was very angry with me this morning and made me apologise to Aonung" he continues 

"Do not tell me you said sorry to him after what he said to you and kiri!"I say.

"I had to Y/n, my dad thought your father would banish us from the clan." "Well I did go and apologise anyways, he said we could be friends and asked me to come hang with him... In the deep reef past the clans waters" 

I gasp at what he's telling me. "Even the adults do not go there often Lo'ak never mind us!"

"Yeah well I learnt that the hard way when Aonung asked me to spear a fish and then when I turned round he had gone, left me." I feel an anger like i've never felt before. 

"I got attacked by some big fish thing and then an even bigger fish attacked that one. I passed out underwater and the bigger fish saved me. There is a drawing of him here look" I check on the rock net to me to find a carved mark that looked like a tulkun. 

"Thats a tulkun Lo'ak, they never travel alone, except one called Payakan but he is very dangerous and killed a whole clan of na'vi and pod of tulkun." I gasped to him. 

"No he isn't like that Y/n! He saved me I swear." He explained.

"Okay I believe you Lo'ak, we really need to get back though before people get worried" I say.

"Okay, thank you for listening and believing me Y/n it means a lot to me." He smiles and hugs me.

I hug him back and help him onto my Ilu. We make our way to the clan but it's too late, the horns I heard earlier were for Lo'ak. 'Were in trouble' I thought to myself. Lo'ak looked at me with a similar look to mine. 

Lo'ak jumped off my Ilu and walked towards Aonung. Jake sully stopped him.

"Neteyam has told us what happened Aonung." father says as he pushes my brother onto his knees.

Lo'ak replies "No it was my fault, I asked Aonung to take me beyond the reef."

'What is he doing?!' I thought to myself.

Jake grabs Lo'ak and starts to push him in the direction of their hut and says to my father "I will speak to him." Neteyam is staring at me, he looks upset and walks away following them.

*Neteyam POV*

Why was she with him... I hate how jealous I am feeling right now. 

I follow my father and Lo'ak to our hut and father starts to shout at Lo'ak. "I am so disappointed in you Lo'ak, I asked you one simple thing, no trouble and this is what you get yourself into."

"You asked me to make friends with them dad" Lo'ak replied. 

"Theres a difference between making friends and causing trouble Lo'ak. Dismissed."

Lo'ak walked out the hut. Why does he always have to cause so much trouble. 

"And where was you?" Mother asks directed at me.

"Yeah what happened to keeping an eye on your brother Neteyam." father adds.

"Sorry sir, it will not happen again."

I exit the hut too and go to find Y/n. I need to talk to her.
