*Y/N POV*

Toruk comes at me and screeches again making me scream. It stops right in front of my face then nudges me with its nose.

What is going on?

I reach out and it hesitates at first then moves its head into my hand to pat it. I pull out my tsaheylu and toruk notices and turns his head to reveal his. I grab it and connect them together. I get a surge of feelings flow through my body.

The ikran flies away and back to the village leaving me with toruk. I climb onto its neck and it flies me away from the island, away from my village. Where is it taking me?

after around 2 minutes of flying we get to the cove where our spirit tree is. Toruk lands and nods its head towards the water. I jump in and swim to the base of the tree. I pull out my tsaheylu and connect to eywa.

Im in a vision, i'm back at my home village. I walk towards a sound coming from what I remember as my parents hut. I walk in to see both parents sitting and smiling at me.

"Hello daughter" mother says.

I smile and they pat the spot next to them for me to sit down. I sit.

"We expected you would come soon" father says with a smile.

"Ive got so many questions, I don't even know where to start" I explain.

"Take your time, toruk will wait for you" mother says.

"You...you..know?" I ask.

"Of course, we have been watching you grow up, and we are very proud of you, toruk makto" father says.

"just like you were meant to be mother, I have heard the stories" I say.

She smiles "You are a better version of us both y/n"

I smile back and hug them both before being pulled out of the vision and back to the water. I disconnect my tsaheylu and swim back to the surface.

"Thank you for bringing me toruk" he sniffs back.

I climb on his back and he starts to lift up. We head back to the village.

*Neteyam POV*

"Who is responsible for this!" Tonowari booms over the crying na'vi.

We all look at Lo'ak.

"Boy you...." Tonowari starts but we hear another noise.

"Skwaaaark"

"Toruk is coming back, everyone hide!" Kiri shouts.

Everyone starts to run away but I stay there frozen. She's gone.

"Neteyam we need to go! Come on!" Lo'ak begs.

Then we hear loads of gasps.

Lo'ak looks at what everyone else is looking at and he gasps too.

"Y/n?" he says.

I whip my head round and see y/n riding toruk.

I stand up in disbelief.

"Y/n" I whisper to myself

*Y/N POV*

We land on the village beach and people look up at me wide eyes, gasping and whispering.

"She is toruk makto!" someone shouts in the crowd of na'vi.

"Toruk makto?!" the rest say in unison.

They all begin to kneel down to one knee. I jump down and walk past them all and walk to the only people left standing, mother, father, Jake, Neytiri, Tsireya, Aonung, Kiri, Tuk, Lo'ak and .... Neteyam.

Lo'ak runs to me and embraces me in the tightest hug we have ever shared. He's crying. "I thought I lost you bro! and it was all my fault!" I hug him back and make my way to mother and father they both envelope me into a group hug and Tsireya and Aonung join in. "We are so glad you're okay!" Tsireya weeps. Everyone lets go but Aonung keeps hold of me. He eventually lets go of me too and then I turn and see Neteyam still froze in the same spot. A tear escapes his eye silently and I run to him. He grabs me as I jump into his arms.

"Never leave me y/n" is all he says.

"I promise" I reply back with teary eyes.

In front of everyone he kisses me. Omg. He has never even spoke about us to anyone. But no one seems surprised when we pull away.

My father walks to the front of the crowd.

"On this day we have been blessed with our very own Toruk Makto! My daughter, y/n!" everyone cheers.

I walk to Toruk and tell him to find the cave nearby, that will be his home now. He flies away and goes out of sight.

I begin to walk to the training ground. I walk straight to Neteyam's ikran and hug him. "Thank you" I say to him.

I head back to the hut to rest, the day has been very eventful. I fall into a deep sleep and end up staying asleep all night. I must have been exhausted.
