Chapter 107

*Marshall POV*

I speak to the general and explain if we use anymore na'vi they may get suspicious, we have already used four.

He agrees with me.

"I believe there are different na'vi clans though throughout Pandora... maybe we expand our search. Other clans may know what you want to know and I will get more results from different na'vi" I continue.

"Whatever you need" he agrees and sets up a meeting for me to discuss plan.

We all meet in the lunch hall and I stand before everyone.

"The research we are doing here is working, we have learned so much in the last month since arriving and it will help us with defeating the na'vi... but we are getting through specimens too quick so with the generals permission we will be expanding our search. I hear of Windtrader na'vi that live north, they live in the deserts of Pandora and thats where we will be starting. With all your help and efforts we will beat these na'vi!" I announce.

They all cheer and clap and start shuffling to get ready for our mission.

"Great speech Marshall, you really know how to get a crown going" Lyle says as he exits the room.

I smile to myself and gather my things ready for the trip.

I meet everyone at the base exit in my avatar form. I packed all essentials I need and any specimen sample equipment I may need. We set off to the North once everyone is present to search for the windtrader na'vi.

The trip is gruelling and long and once we hit the desert its so hot. We continue on and then as im losing hope I hear a faint noise. I get everyone to crouch down and we look round and there before me is a na'vi. They look different to the others. Instead of being blue they are a pale nude colour and covered in brown markings. They have the usual black na'vi hair but have brown eyes.

I signal to Lyle to get out his dart gun and he follows the instruction. He shoots the dart and hits the na'vi right on target. We wait for him to fall and Lyle and Gomez run over and grab him. We bind him and make our way back to the ship.

By the time we get back it is pitch black but the Pandora sky illuminates the planet beautifully. Lyle orders some of the crew to tie the na'vi to the experiment table ready for the morning. I head to my pod for the night after a very successful day. I pull the photo from my pocket and look at it before going to sleep.

I wake up ready for the busy day ahead. I head straight to the lab and get my stuff ready. I go to the experiment room and the na'vi is awake looking round from the table he is strapped to. He hisses at me when I enter and the security follow me inside.

The general shortly follows and observes me taking all my samples. I draw blood, take skin samples and hair samples and place them all in the appropriate containers to take and examine. Then general starts his interrogating and asks about Jake Sully and where we will find him. The na'vi doesn't understand and I translate.

He ignores the question and refuses to answer.

"Fine have it that way" the general says and gets out the same tool that killed the last four na'vi. He sets it on a low pain level first. He asks the na'vi over and over again but he doesnt tell us anything. Just as the general almost reaches his limit I stop him.

"sir, I need him for my experiments" I say.

"Right" he says stopping and removing the machine.

"We will continue this in the morning" he says and leaves the room.

I collect my samples and as I go to leave the na'vi speaks to me.

"Why you do this" he says.

"So you do know English" I say.

"All navi know English" he says.

"Interesting" I say as I write the information down on my notepad.

"Why you do this" he asks again.

I ignore him and leave the room. Ive got samples to analyse I don't need distractions. I spend the rest of the day in the lab examining the materials and finding out more stuff. Ron helps me examine the stuff and we work together to link and think of stuff to beat the na'vi.

We leave the lab for dinner and head to the food hall. We wait in the line and get our rations and sit at the tables along with Lyle, Gomez and the rest of the crew. They discuss all things combat and their different experiences with war and fighting. Me and Ron discuss our findings so far and explain the na'vi seem to have a special connection with the planet and it could be spiritual. We explain we are co examining the samples from the Omatikaya na'vi and the windtraders to see what they have in common and don't and what common weakness they have.

After a long break we head back to the lab to continue testing the samples and I decide to pay our na'vi friend a visit. I try various options for harming the na'vi but none of them seem to work. After around a week the general finally reaches the na'vi's limit. We spend the next 3 weeks going out and finding new na'vi again and hit four deaths again. I have the same talk with the general and discuss another clan I have heard of that home ash na'vi.
