I See You Y/n | Neteyam x reader

Chapter 63

I wake up this morning with a bittersweet feeling. I am so excited to be moving in with Neteyam and having our own hut but i'm sad to be leaving my family hut. Im sad I wont sleep with Tsireya every night.

"Hey... need some help packing?" Tsireya says with watery eyes.

"Oh Tsireya" I say and give her a hug.

"I'm going to miss you so much, I know you're still here but it won't be the same" she says with a broken voice. A tear falls down her face and I wipe it.

"It will be fine, we will have loads of sleepovers and hang out like we do now" I say to cheer her up.

She pulls a forced smile before getting up.

I look round the hut and wonder where to start first. I walk to my jewellery and start to pack it all away in the beautiful shell holder I had for my birthday. Then I ask Tsireya to put all my clothes into a seaweed bag for me to take. We pack my stuff like my seaweed curl cream etc and am done after a few hours.

Kiri and Rotxo join us half way through then Rotxo disappears to where I assume he is helping Neteyam. When done me , Tsireya and Kiri grab as much as we can and start to walk to my new hut. That sounds surreal to say. We get there and it is still empty. We place the stuff down and walk back to the family hut to get the last bits we couldn't carry. We get back and pace the remaining stuff down.

We start to unpack it all straight away to get it over and done with. I set up my getting ready corner and an area for my clothes I have. After a while we head to the main area of the village to get some bits for the hut that I haven't got for example cooking stuff etc. We get it form the resource hut and make our way back.

I set up the rug as a sleeping area and all the cooking stuff in a corner. We're pretty much done at this point so we head out the hut.

"Hey shall we decorate the outside like we did ours a while back?" Tsireya suggests.

"Yes!" I exclaim and we all walk to the tree area to find flowers etc to decorate the hut.

We search for various types of flowers and I end up choosing blue and teal for me and Neteyam. After a few hours we head back to the hut and Neteyam still hasn't been to put his stuff anywhere. What's taking him so long?

Me, Tsireya and Kiri take our time attaching each flower perfectly on the hut to make it look cute. As we finish Neteyam, Lo'ak, Aonung and Rotxo appear with a handful of stuff each.

"What took you guys so long?" Kiri asked.

"I don't have much stuff so we went fishing for a while" Neteyam explains.

They all drop the stuff to the floor and Neteyam starts to put his stuff away.

"It looks good" he says with a smile.

"Thanks" we all say in unison and laugh.

We all help Neteyam sort his stuff then we hear shouting outside the hut, we look out and hear "The tulkun have returned"

"Come on let's go!" I say and lead everyone to the water, we all dive in and look for our spirit sisters and brothers.

Kiri goes with Rotxo to his, Aonung goes to his, Tsireya finds her sister and I try to find my sister with Neteyam and Lo'ak. As we swim I notice something and gasp and grab Lo'ak. I point to the tulkun and he looks at me wide eyed. It's payakan!

We swim over and Lo'ak signs "Brother, I didn't know your pack we're our brother sand sisters!"

Payakan nods and then my spirit sister appears from beside him.
