"Mommy are you ok?" Sophie asked me as I lay in bed.
I forced my eyes open gave her a struggled smile.
"I'm fine" I said in a whisper.
"Have my doll so you can get better" she said and gave me one of the dolls I created for her.
She ran out and Max came in.
He kissed my forehead and gave me a sad smile.
"Don't do that" I said.
"Do what?" He asked as he lay besides me.
"Give me that look, the one that says I'm going to lose you" I said.
"I'm not losing you" he said as he pulled me gently closer to him.
"What if you do?" I asked and he growled.
"I won't" he said.
"Max stop ignoring the obvious I need to know that if I die you will take the kids and look after and don't blame our little girl for my death" I said with pleasing eyes.
He sighed and nodded kissing my forehead again.
"I love you" I said and slipped into darkness.
