"Good morning, miss. How can I help you?" asks the employee of the local community center.

"I... I actually lost my National ID Card. How should I get a new one?" I ask.

"Oh, you have to pay 35 000 won for the fee. You have to bring your birth certificate. And your passport photo too, then your parents' National ID Card too" says him.

"Ooh," I nod.

I get into my car. It's 11 a.m. now.

To be about to issue my new National ID Card is quite complicated because I don't know where my late mother kept all those required things.

But for sure, it's at my home.

I drive to my house.

I sigh when I'm here again.

I hate to be here because of the regrets I have. It includes to invite Jungkook over.

I realize everywhere I go, anything I do; Jungkook is haunting me.

I'm still living in the past.

I go to the front door and twist the knob open.

I frown when it is locked. I clearly remember that I didn't lock the door yesterday.

I really don't lock it. I'm so confused. Am I having dementia now?

I sigh. I don't know.

So, do I need to climb up? It's so tiring.

I climb up to the roof just like I did yesterday.

I carefully go to my room's window. I hold the bottom of the window and lift it up.

But it doesn't move. Is it locked too? But how?

I literally don't lock it.

But I know the trick.

My window, even if it is locked, it can be opened a little bit, leaving a gap that I can do my trick.

I hold the bottom of the window with both of my hands and try to lift it up. But it doesn't move at all.

I frown. What's going on?

I am so sure I didn't lock it yesterday.

Something is wrong, and I know very well what it is.

I know Jungkook has his people watching me. I never catch them, but I know it.

I get down on the ground and go back to my car to get my phone.

I make a call to Jungkook right away.

"Morning, babe".

"Babe?" asks me. I can't believe he calls me that again. I scoff. And he doesn't sound like yesterday; he sounds in a good mood.

He doesn't say anything.

"Why do you lock my mother's house?" I ask him.

"To avoid burglary and trespassers," he simply answers.

He annoys me but at least he admits he did that.

"Who are you?" I ask him.

"Someone who is concerned about the house," he says.

I press my lips together. He's really testing my patience.

"It's my fucking house, why do you care?"

"Oh really? I thought it was Kim Seohwa's house.

"I am her daughter!"

"You know, an adopted daughter won't automatically inherit the property," he says.
