Personality: Minjae might be on the older side but he definitely has the heart of a child. He is always looking on the bright side, even when everything is telling him not to. He is the person to go to when you need a cheering up because he will do whatever it takes to make someone smile.
Background: Minjae grew up in Incheon with his parents and two older sisters. Due to having older sisters, he often mimicked them which is why he tends to be seen as feminine. He was also the jokester in the house and was always trying to make everyone laugh, even during sad situations or events. Even when he was told to knock it off, he continued being a bright child which made him extremely likeable and always had so many friends. Minjae enjoyed participating in extracurriculars but his favorite was theater because it gave him the chance to be in the spotlight and make people happy doing it. This is where he grew a passion for singing and performing for people. After graduating from high school, Minjae auditioned for the big three companies at the time - SM, JYP, and YG - but only got accepted into YG. Still taking the chance, he went and started training but everyone around him started debuting without him. After Treasure's debut in 2020, Minjae realized he just wasn't fit for YG and started applying to other companies. Due to his age, he was declined from all but one: Pinky Entertainment, where he quickly joined their survival show just 6 months after joining. Unfortunately he lost the chance to debut with the show's group but the company kept him training with the promise that he would eventually join Royal Colors.
