"Indeed" said Sherlock.

Moriarty stood up, smoothing out the crumpled edges of his coat and the men faced each other. They stood in silence, Sherlock's hands behind his back and Moriarty's at his side, in the middle of the circle of flowers. Moriarty inhaled.

"I thought it would be harder Sherlock" he carried out the E in Sherlock's name.

"I thought so too. We are no match for each other Jim, and you're well aware of that" Sherlock said, pushing his coat collar up to a standing position. His companion turned on his heels, made a waving motion with his hand and walked away. Briskly, his coat was flapping behind him. Was this really the end of Moriarty? Again, that is. He did fake his death that one time Sherlock faked his.

Sherlock deduced that there was no way that Moriarty would even glance around, so he slowly turned and headed the opposite direction.

If one was curious and silent enough to see, they might go to that garden and see Moriarty's beady eyes glancing through the bushes. Waiting for Sherlock to come back.

That is before the events that followed a week after.
