Shokoy and Siomai

Whew! Made it through the roller coaster of emotions this week!

I think I can only publish one story today - was super busy yesterday and I only have time to finish this part today.

Didn't manage to proofread this so, I apologize in advance for any errors you may see.

  Maine was stretching her hands upward when she suddenly heard her phone ringing...

   *FaceTime call alert*

   She suddenly dived onto the bed and answered breathlessly "Hello, babe?" The video connected and suddenly, Tisoy was visible on the screen.

   "Hi babe! We're en route to Dubai ngayon. Hope you received my message as soon as we landed."

   "Yeah, i received it. Inabangan ko talaga as soon as I saw that your flight has landed," Maine answered while making herself comfortable on the bed. "So how was the flight?"

   "The usual - long, tiring... Gusto ko na ngang umuwi e. Kasi, I really miss you."

   "Sus! Wala pang one day, miss mo na ako? Sabi ko na nga ba, maganda talaga ako saka sweet kaya nami-miss mo ako agad," Maine said this while doing a hairflip.

   Rj laughed loudly in the background. "At bakit ka tumawa? Totoo naman di ba? Ayusin mo sagot mo, kundi lagot ka sakin pagbalik mo!"

   "Joke lang lola! Joke lang! Ikaw talaga, di mabiro. Oo naman, I miss you - kasi ang ganda mo kahit madalas mapikon. I miss you kasi ang sweet mo kahit binubully mo ako. I miss you kasi hindi kumpleto ang araw ko pag hindi kita nakikita." Rj takes a deep breath then stares into Maine's eyes, "You make my life COMPLETE."

   Maine gives a big smiles and tucks her hair behind her ear. "Ikaw talaga, hilig mo mambola! Kung pwede lang kita hampasin e!"

   "Luh, luh, luh, hind yun bola! Kailan nga kita binola, aber? Alam mo naman na pagdating sa relationships, 'i take it seriously'."

   "#bolapamore, #kiligpamore, My Bebe Love ba ito?" Maine answered in return. "O sige na, try to rest up while you're on the way to your hotel. May KalyeSerye pa tayo mamaya.

   Btw, yung KalyeSerye mamaya, medyo intense. Pabebe mode na naman ako. Buti na lang sa aktingan lang ako pabebe noh?" She said it with a serious face but winked when Rj started laughing. "Okay, I also have to prepare for today's busy schedule! Ilove you and I miss you, babe. Ingat ka dyan palagi."

   "I love you, too, babe. Ingatan mo din sarili mo lalo na wala ako dyan. Para sa akin at para kay Bibi." Rj laughed at his silliness.

   "Bibi ka dyan!" She answered with a laugh. "Sige na, maliligo na ako! Baka ma-late pa ako nito."

   "Usap tayo habang naliligo ka, I'll keep you company." He then waggled his brows.

   Maine just rolled her eyes at him and said "Bye na talaga!" then ended the call. She then looked up and said "This will be a great day for us!"

---- After the KalyeSerye segment

  "Menggay, wala naman kayong away talaga ni Alden noh?" Wally asked Maine as they were returning to their seats after the segment completed.

   "Wala naman, Kuya Wally. Bakit po? Benta po ba yung acting ko kanina?" Maine asked with a big smile.

   "Bentang-benta! Muntik na nga akong maniwala. Galing talaga ni Best Supporting Actress, o!" Wally teased.

   "Kuya Wally!!! Nang-aasar ka na naman ha!" She answered while blushing. "Magche-check na nga lang ako ng twitter and IG! Kulit nyo!"

   Maine sat down and checked on her social media accounts. To her surprise, the viewers were so affected with the episode and were arguing about it spiritedly. "This can go really, really good or really, really bad."

   Maine then tweeted "Owkwey let us not forget... Aktingan lang to, uy! Have a great day y'all! ☺️" to pacify the KalyeSerye fans.

   *ring ring ring* *Rj ni Meng calling*

   "Hmm, tumawag yata agad." She then picked up the call. "Hello babe?"

   "Hi babe! I have a few more minutes before mag-start yung press con ko dito but I just wanted to call my bibi girl while I still have the chance." Rj greeted Maine.

   "Kakatapos pa lang natin mag-usap ah! Miss mo na ulit ako?" Maine teased.

   "Iba kasi yung KalyeSerye; that's Alden and Divina. Tayo, we're Tisoy and Meng.

   Hina kasi si Alden e, wala pa tuloy syang formal na karapatan si Alden magselos kay Divina. Samantalang ako..."

   "Ano, ano yun Faulkerson? Mag-ingat ka sa sasabihin mo!" She fake threatened Rj.

   "Samantalang ako, confident na confident na si Rj/Tisoy lang ang type ni Maine kaya hindi siya nagseselos. Tama naman, hindi ba?"

   Maine acted like she was still thinking about it, then answered "Sige na nga, bata pa kasi masyado si Baste!"

   "'Tama na yan!' Si Baste talaga, ninja moves pag wala ako! Buti na lang nasa baranggay ka lang!" He answered in jest as well.

   "Btw, babe, medyo nagkakagulo sa mga social media sites. Masyado daw effective si Divina sa acting nya; ang dami tuloy naaawa kay Alden.
      I don't mind personally, pero I just reminded everyone to chill out. Galing ko na daw kasi umarte sabi ni Kuya Wally. Inasar na naman ako dun sa award ko, e di ko nga talaga alam kung bakit ako nanalo dun."

   "Ayan ka na naman, you're putting yourself down again. You won fair and square, ang galing mo talagang umarte for a newbie - natural na natural. So accept that and just say 'thank you' when someone congratulates you, okay? I'm your number one fan, wag nila akong susubukan!" Rj assured Maine.

   "Tungkol naman sa mga feedback. Naku, naku, naku, wag mo na pansinin yun, mai-stress ka lang. People will always have something to say for or against you or in this case, Divina." Rj paused to think of what he will say next.

   "Hindi ako tatagal nang limang taon sa showbiz if I took to heart every single thing that people say. May time nadamay pa nga yung nanay ko - that hurt me the most. Pero I just turned my phone off then prayed to calm down.
    The trick there is never to read your haters' comments para hindi ka ma-stress. And besides, it was about Divina, not you. Ikaw pa, ang sweet-sweet mo nga!" He said the last sentence while winking at Maine.

   "Ikaw talaga, bolero forever and ever! Ok fine, ignore mode on." She rolled her eyes at him. "So what are your plans nga pala today after ng Press Con mo?"

   "Hmm, they're planning to tour me around daw. Excited ako sa Desert Safari - sand dunes pa more! Sana makakita at makahawak din ako ng falcon!" Rj said excitedly then suddenly became a little sad. "Sana talaga magkaron tayo ng shows abroad na magkasama tayo. Actually, kahit nga sa provinces na lang, okay na rin sakin. I miss our time together in Cebu and Davao."

   "Shokoy, wag ka nang malungkot, okay? The time will come when we will be able to travel together. And travel na for pleasure, not for work! Para mas madami tayong time together to explore at walang may hawak sa oras natin."

   *someone calls Alden in the background*

   "I have to go na, babe. I'll try to call you later pero I'll try to schedule it para hindi ka masyado mapuyat. Or better yet, message mo ako what time you'll be available."

   "Okay, I will. Basta I'll talk to you later, no matter what." Maine paused for a bit then continued, "Ingat ka ulit. I love you, Shokoy."

   "I love you, too, Siomai."
