Monday habit

Happy Tuesday morning guys!

I woke up after a nice dream about these two (yes, kahit sa panaginip kasama ko sila) so I decided to write about it before I forget the details.

Monday morning, Mendoza Residence

(Doorbell rings, gate opens)
R: *big smile* Good morning po, Yaya Pepe!
YP: O, Rj, good morning din. Tuloy ka.

Rj walks into the house to greet Tatay and Nanay Dub
R: Good morning po!
TD: Good morning, iho. Susunduin mo na si Meng? (Rj nods) Kumain ka muna habang hinihintay mo sya.
R: Ay, salamat po, pero nag-almusal na po ako.

Nanay nods, already used to Rj's response.
ND: Hintayin mo na lang sya dito sa salas. Ipapatawag ko na rin kay Yaya Pepe para di na ka na din maghintay ng matagal.
R: Tinawagan ko na rin po kanina, alam po nya na nandito na ako. Saglit na lang po siguro yun.

TD: Congratulations nga pala dun sa award mo, tuwang-tuwa si Menggay na ikinwento sa amin.
ND: Oo nga, ganda din daw ng mensahe mo. Tama yun, hindi sa lahat ng panahon mabait lang, dapat din pakita mo na walang epekto yung ginagawa nila sa inyo.

Rj blushes when he hears this - even the tips of his ears turned red
R: *bashful grin* Thank you po. A-
M: Rj! Ano, tara na?

Rj was immediately transfixed by his bibi's beauty as she was coming down the stairs.
R: The best ka talaga, Lord. Worth it yung paghihintay ko para sa kanya for a long time. Buti na lang po iniiwas ninyo ako sa hindi tama para sa akin.

He was snapped out of his reverie by a flick on his nose.
M: Huy, tulala ka dyan!
R: Ah, eh, ang ganda kasi nung bumaba sa hagdan
M: *flips hair* Ah, yun ba? Maliit na bagay.
R: *teasing tone* Sinabi ko bang ikaw? Si Yaya Pepe kaya yun.
M: *raises eyebrow* Ah ganon. Tatandaan ko yan, sorry ka mamaya.

TD clears his throat to get their attention
TD: *ehem* Nandito pa kami ng nanay mo, Menggay.
M: Ay, hehehe, sige po, Tay, Nay, tuloy na kami.
R: Una na po kami, Tay, Nay.

M raises her eyebrow at this but keeps quiet as they settle into his car. Then she asks in a teasing tone
M: "Tay, Nay"? Magkapatid na pala tayo? Kelan ka pa inampon? Hindi ba yun parang inc--

Rj quickly cuts her off with a finger on her lips
R: Ssh! Kung ano na naman yang sabihin mo, buti walang ibang tao. At dun sa pagpapaalam ko, Nasabi ko na nga on-cam yun, pag tayo-tayo na lang babawiin ko pa? Consistency is key! *wiggles brows*

She kisses his finger first then removes it from her lips.
M: Speaking of consistency, super consistent ka talaga sa pagsundo sa akin kada Maine-day ha! Eto ang prize mo (gives him a quick buss on the lips)!
R: Parang bitin naman yun! Linggo-linggo ko naman ito ginagawa, pwedeng isa pa na mas matagal?

*knock knock knock*
M: (rolls down window) Tay, bakit po?
TD: Sabi nyo kasi nagmamadali na kayo, e hindi pa kayo umaalis, titingnan ko lang kung may problema.
R: Ah, wala naman po, tiningnan lang po ni Maine kung may "kulang" pa sya.
M: Ay opo, paalis na kami, di ba, Rj? *smiles sweetly at him*
R: Sige po, mauna na kami.

They were driving to the location of KS for the day in companionable silence (with music from Maine's playlist in the background) when Rj spoke up
R: Ikaw ha, nakaligtas ka kanina, pero may kiss ka pa na utang sa akin.
M: *pabebe look* Ha? Bakit naman? Umoo ba ako kanina? Wala di ba? So ibig sabihin, waley, nada, zilch!

R: *pouts* Sige na, kahit yun na yung gift mo sa quadruple platinum award ko. 4 na kiss o kaya 4 minutes na kiss, plith?
M: *laughs* Oy, isang kiss lang kaya yung hinihingi mo kanina, ba't ngayon apat na?

R: Isa para sa bawat isang platinum level ng album ko. Wala ka pa kasing kiss dati sakin e.

M: Ganern? E hindi pa naman tayo nung naging platinum yun for the first time. So minus 1 agad. Tapos na-kiss na kita ng isa pa, so minus 1 ulit. Then I kissed your finger so minus 1 na naman. Isa na lang ang natira (sticks tongue out at Rj)!

R: Grabe sya, talagang tinawaran nang husto yung request ko. Sige, 1 kiss na lang pero 4 minutes long dapat!
M: May lahi ka bang shokoy? Can you hold your breath for 4 minutes? *raises an eyebrow* Basta pag kiss mo sa akin, if humiwalay na yung lips mo, tapos na yung 1 kiss mo!
R: Sabi mo yan ha! Basta, pag ikaw ang humiwalay, reset yung 1 kiss ko!!!

He then thinks
R: Akala mo, mahilig kaya ako mag-swimming!

M: *rolls eyes* Okay, fine! Ako kaya ang mas game sa challenges sa ating dalawa. *laughs mockingly* Ikaw din kaya ang mahina ang baga sa ating dalawa!
R: Yes! Sabi mo yan ha! Maghanda ka nang ma-"Maine Mendoza" ulit!

She blushes and feels hot after being reminded of her "Maine Mendoza" episode in the EB Host's Room. [A/N: See PST chapter for more details]
M: Erm, change topic! (fans self) Congratulations ulit sa award mo. Quadruple na, malapit nang umabot ng Diamond level - para ka nang si Jose Mari Chan nun! Galing talaga ng bibi ko!

Rj holds her hand and intertwines their fingers. He kisses the back of her hand before continuing
R: Thank you babe sa pag-claim na aabot ako ng Diamond level. If dumating, laking pasalamat talaga yun. Kasi hindi naman talaga ako singer. You're the "Maine" reason bakit lahat talaga ng blessings na ito e nakukuha natin.

They've reached their destination already and after they parked, he stares into M's eyes.
R: Kaya talagang nagpasalamat ako sa mga bashers. Nagiging kabaligtaran yung nangyayari sa atin. The more they try to pull us apart, the tighter we hold on to each other. The more they insist na hindi tayo bagay, mas lalo kong gusto i-prove sa iyo na no one else can love you like I do, na pang-forever na ito.

Maine melted inside with his words and couldn't help herself. She grabbed on to him and kissed him with passion.

M: *breathless* I love you too, babe. Ikaw din ang pinakamalaking blessing sa akin. Kaya kebs dyan sa mga bashers. "Bash pa more" kasi mas nagiging close tayo dahil sa kanila.

She leans her head on R's shoulder for a while then sits up and sighs
M: Sige babe, I'm sure hinihintay na nila ako. Papakuha ko na lang yung ibang gamit ko ha?

R: Uy! Hep, hep, hep! May nakalimutan ka pa, babe!
M: (puzzled) Ano yun?
R: Ehem, 1 kiss, 4 minutes...
M: *wide-eyed* I kissed you a while ago, cancelled na yun!
R: Usapan natin if ikaw nag-break ng kiss, reset yung kiss ko, di ba *wiggles brows*? Kaya...

Rj moves to her side, grabs the seat back recliner, pushes Maine's seat to recline (with a squeal from her) and leans over her
R: ...get ready kasi ime-Maine Mendoza na kita!
