Wednesday, after KS

*Facetime call*

"Hi babe," Rj greeted Maine.

"O, why the sudden call?" she asked.

"Usap-usapan na naman tayo sa social media. Guess what the topic is about?"

"Romeo and Juliet theme? Na confused na sila sa storyline ng KS? Ano na ba yung plano this weekend?" she enumerated the possibilities.

"Nope. Same lang ang topic for both of us. Tungkol sa relo natin."

"What about it?" she asked, totally confused.

"Kasi bakit daw wala akong relo. And, bakit suot mo yung relo ko," he answered with a smile.

"Huh? Pero I'm wearing my own watch! Pati ba naman relos natin conjugal property?" she asked with a raised brow.

"Naisip siguro nila yun kasi wala akong relo kanina. Tapos kamukha ng relos mo yung sa akin," he explained.

"Mag-post ako mamaya ng short video - Guess What (Guess watch) ang peg," she replied with matching 'kilay moves'.

"Magaling ka talaga sa ganyan ano?"

"Saan?"

"Mang-inis!"

"Alden Richards, hindi pa ako fully nakaka-get over sa tampo ko sa iyo ha. Parang gusto mo yata magtampo ulit ako sa iyo," she replied with a raised brow.

"Joke lang, babe! Biro lang yun, wag ka nang magtampo, plith?" he answered with a pabebe pout.

"Pag-iisipan ko pa."

Maine then bit on her lip, getting Rj transfixed at her image on the screen. She then continued their conversation.

"On another topic, why aren't you wearing your watch? Kakasabi mo pa lang last weeksary na you can't stand not having a watch throughout the day - similar to the fact na kulang ang araw mo if you don't see me. So does that mean na since kaya mo nang walang relo, kaya mo din na hindi ako makita o makasama ng isang araw?"

Rj smiled at her question. He knew she would ask this question. And he was ready with an answer - a sincere, heartfelt one.

"Babe, aanhin ko ang relo ko na nandyan ka naman? Hindi ko na kailangan yung relo ko when you're around."

"Bakit naman?"

"Love is time. You are the one that I love. You already have all my time and attention - aanhin ko pa ang relo ko?"

Maine guffawed at his answer.

"Grabe sya, basag na naman ako. Serious ako dun sa sinabi ko tapos pinagtawanan ako."

"Sorry babe, di ko talaga mapigilan tumawa! I loved your answer pero kasi... Ang keso!!! Hahahahaha!" She laughed until tears started streaming from her eyes.

Rj just let her laugh it all out. The things he endures for the one he loves, he thought.

After she got herself under control, she then said to Rj, "Babe, thank you for that ha? It's super cheesy pero natouch talaga ako, pwamis. And dahil napatawa mo ako nang husto, hindi na ako nagtatampo sa iyo!"

Rj shook his head at what she said. Women - they drive you crazy but you can't live without them.

"Ok lang babe, alam mo naman na malakas ka sa akin," he replied.

"Sige babe, I have to go na ha? Dadaan ka mamaya?"

"Lagi naman di ba?" he answered while wiggling his brows.

"I'll expect that ha? See you later, babe (wink)."

"Promise, I'll be there. Love you babe."

*Call ended*

"Love is time - sweet talaga ng boyfriend ko. Pero corny talaga niya," she smiled then headed off to her next appointment, excited at what the end of the day would bring for them both.
