Hi guys! Just a short update because I couldn't help myself after reading tweets stating that there is trouble in paradise because of the "missing puka shell bracelet".

The bibis are very smart; who knows what the real reason is? So here's my take on this "issue" (which in reality, I don't think is an issue 😉).

Again, just a reminder, unless the genre of what you're reading is "non-fiction", please don't treat it as canon. And this book is under "fanfiction". Okay? Clear? Alright 👍

*Facetime call from Rj*

"Hi babe!" Maine greeted Rj cheerfully.

"Maine, may problema ba tayo?" Rj asked in a serious tone.

Maine was puzzled. She isn't aware that they have a new issue, but she'd better ask rather than assuming.
"Um, wala. Should there be a problem?"

"Wala kasi yung bracelet mo ngayon. Sabi mo kasi lagi mo syang isusuot di ba? Kaya ang tanong ko, ano ang problema natin at hindi mo sya suot?"

Maine rolled her eyes at this. Her sensitive boyfriend is being "pabebe" once again.

"Babe, it doesn't mean na pag hindi ko suot yun e galit or may tampo na agad ako sa iyo. Hindi ba pwedeng may valid reason kung bakit hindi ko sya suot?"

"Pwede naman. Pero wala ka naman nasabi sa akin na rason o na tatanggalin mo muna sya. Usapan natin dapat lagi nating suot. Kaya naisip ko na baka nagtatampo o nagagalit ka sa akin."

Rj's statement made Maine's ire rise.
"Rj, wag mo akong simulan ha? Ang babaw mo sa totoo lang. Are you seriously telling me that I have to tell you everytime I take off my bracelet? And if I don't wear it, automatic galit na ako sa iyo? Kahit wala namang rason para magalit ako?" she huffed while raising her eyebrow at Rj.

"Hindi ko naman sinabi yun. Pero hindi ka ba magtataka at magtatanong if ever wala yung bracelet ko din?"

"Rj, I'm moody, but I'm not unreasonable. I wouldn't have assumed anything - but I would have asked politely at walang pagdududa. Hindi kagaya ng ginawa mo kanina."

Direk Pat was heard over the line calling Maine over.
"I have to go now, tinatawag na ako. At tama lang bago pa ako lalo mainis sa iyo. Wag mo muna akong kulitin - pabayaan mong mawala muna yung inis ko sa iyo. And for your information, even if I don't need to explain myself, hindi ko sinuot si bracey kasi ang daming tao sa baranggay at baka mahablot ulit sya. I kept it in my bag to keep it safe. So, masaya na po ba kayo sa paliwanag ko?" she asked sarcastically.

"Babe---" he started.

"Sige na, alis na ako, bye."

Rj stared at his phone and sighed. He shouldn't have started their call in that manner. He sounded accusing and just assumed matters. It's just that these past few days, issues have been bombarding them left and right and he's feeling a bit needy, clingy, to be honest.

He called Mama Ten over for help.
"Nay, patulong naman o. Medyo nagalit sa akin si Meng."

"Ano na naman ginawa mo?" Mama Ten asked.

"E," he started, scratching his head in the process. "Hinanap ko kasi yung puka shell bracelet nya kanina, tapos may pagka-maangas yung pagtatanong ko. Ayun, napikon. Plano ko sanang magpadala ng bulaklak sa kanya, ano ba yung bulaklak na pinapadala kung gusto mo mag-sorry?"
