Puppy Love

Hi guys! First of all, I want to greet all the mommies who read my stories with a Happy Mother's Day! Being a mom is difficult and at times frustrating; but seeing our kids happy and healthy makes it all worth it.

Okay, back to regular programming. Are you already feeling the sepanx from our bibis? You might hate me for this but I'm actually happy that Meng and Rj are out of the country!

Why, you may ask? My MaiChard heart is happy because:
1. They're cooped on a plane together for at least 8 hours straight;
2. They have more privacy once they're in Europe;
3. They have ~3 weeks to work yet may still manage to have a mini vacay around Italy 😍

So chin up guys! Enjoy the fact that our bibis have more time together and when they return, we'll soon have a quality movie to look forward to!

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this One Shot which was inspired by Maine's song yesterday.

Broadway after EB

Rj and Maine are walking together to go backstage. Rj's arm is around Maine's shoulder and they didn't mind that other people were filming them as they walked.

"Ang cute ng kanta mo kanina, babe," Rj told Maine with a bedimpled smile.

"Cute? Ang dami ko kayang sablay! Kaya nga may recording para may sasalo sa akin pag sumabit ako; para hindi masyado obvious."

Rj stopped walking and stared at Maine.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Ano na naman yan, babe? Ang galing mo kaya kanina. At maganda ang boses mo - mas madalas pa nga akong pumiyok kesa sa iyo."

Maine stared at the floor as she shuffled her feet. Rj lifted her chin up and lifted his eyebrow in a silent question to her.

"Fine, fine! Sige na, maganda na boses ko. Sa sobrang ganda nga, pwede na nga akong mag-recording ngayon din! Tara na, let's go!" she huffed as she rolled her eyes.

Rj sighed, looked around and found Mama Ten talking to Dean. Just the right people I'm searching for. Pulling a pouting Maine along with him, Rj approached them and asked for a favor.

"Nay Ten, Dean, pwedeng mag-usap muna kami ni Maine kahit 15-20 minutes lang? May appointment kami sa Belo pero kailangan ko lang talagang kausapin muna si Maine."

"Ano bang pag-uusapan natin? May appointment pa tayo tapos mag-eempake pa ako!" she muttered.

"Bro, ano na naman ang ginawa ni Meng?" Dean interjected.

"Hala sya! Ako agad ang may nagawa kaya kami mag-uusap? Hindi kaya nagda-drama lang yang si Alden kaya bigla akong kakausapin?" Maine answered Dean then stuck her tongue out at him.

"Weh, talaga lang ha? Ikaw ang madalas topakin kaya kayo nag-aaway," Dean retorted.

"Sige Rj, hilahin ko na itong si Dean sa baba bago pa magkapikunan nang husto itong dalawa. Hihintayin na lang namin kayo sa sasakyan. 20 minutes lang ha? May show ka pa mamayang gabi, Tisoy," Mama Ten reminded.

"Opo Nay. Saglit lang talaga kami." Turning to Dean, he gave him a fist bump then nodded his head, giving him an assurance that he'll make sure to handle this quickly.

As soon as the two left, Rj pulled Maine into a (blessedly) empty room so they can talk.

"So? What are we going to talk about?" Maine asked testily while she slouched on the seat.

"Yang kawalan mo na naman ng self-confidence ang pag-uusapan natin. Bakit ba ayaw mong maniwala na kaya mo? Na maganda yung pagkakakanta mo?"

"Kasi hindi naman talaga ako singer! Or hindi ba talaga obvious?" she replied sarcastically.
