"Good morning! How's my better half this morning? Parang hindi ka masyado masaya," greeted Rj.
"O, paano mo naman nasabi yan?"
"I saw your tweet and you seem sad because hindi ka makakasama sa family outing ninyo," he replied.
Maine knows what he's talking about. It's about her tweet earlier today which she couldn't help but post.

*knock knock knock*
"Sandali lang, babe, someone's at the door. Baka may nakalimutan si Dean kaya bumalik."
She looked into the peephole and saw a brown paper bag. Shrugging her shoulders, she opened the door. As soon as it was opened, the bag was lowered and the man who has captured her heart stood in front of her.
"Babe! What are you doing here?" she exclaimed.
Rj gave Maine a half hug as they walked inside her unit.
"Hi crush, na-miss mo ba ako?" he teased as soon as they were in her kitchen.
She groaned. She knows she won't be able to live that "crush" thing down for a while.
"Hoy Mr. Faulkerson, Jr., kung ayaw mong iwan kita sa outing mamaya, tigil-tigilan mo na yang 'crush' na yan ha!" then flicked his nose.
Clutching his nose, he reacted. "Aray naman, babe! Ikaw talaga, pikon! Pero ang hilig mang-inis ng iba!"
"Okay, if you are planning to irritate me today of all days, you're free to leave now," she pouted as she sat down on one of the dining room chairs.
After putting down the paper bag on the kitchen counter, he went to Maine and crouched beside her. Holding her hands, he gave a deep sigh before he answered.
"Babe, I'm sorry. I just wanted to tease you and cheer you up kasi malungkot ka this morning. Pero parang epic fail yata kasi mas nalungkot ka."
Maine sighed and ran the fingers of one hand through his hair. She knows she's being moody today but there are just days when her showbiz life makes her feel "meh".
"Sorry babe if you bore the brunt of my frustration. Kasi summer getaway ng family namin pero I have to work. And yes, we're going to the beach today as well pero it's mainly for work, not for relaxation."
"Ganyan talaga, babe. Hot property pa tayo ngayon e. Alam ko yan kasi parang roller coaster ang career ko. Nung nagsimula ako, ang daming hype about me! Palaging busy, ang daming trabaho tapos walang masyadong pahinga. Tapos biglang tumamlay - walang soap, walang pelikula, hindi ganon ka-in demand," Rj reminisced.
