Hi! I'm Nikki, and my milestone isn't coming out (I did that over a year ago to some not-so-great responses form my family).

But, it's when my mom said a throw-away statement that made my entire life.

I'm pansexual, and have been out of the kitchen cupboard (get it? 'cause pans) since March 12th, 2016.

A few weeks ago, as me and my mom were driving home from school, I mentioned how I want to travel the world someday.

I jokingly said I would just marry rich. And she said "Oh! How about marrying a rich businessPERSON and traveling with them."

So yeah, acceptance feels really nice.
