Hi! So, I'd like to stay anonymous for my own reasons, but I do have a milestone to share! I am an asexual girl and possibly an aromatic. I always knew that looking at a guy or girl and thinking their not ugly wasn't exactly a sign of me liking them. I could never describe people as hot like my friends and I couldn't imagine myself getting married and eventually giving birth to children. Even as a young kid, I didn't want to give birth and I wasn't one of those girls who imagined their wedding dress early on. I asked a friend who was knowledgeable of the LGBTQ+ community and asked her what was it called if I wasn't attracted to anything, and she replied with aromatic. I did some research and I believe that's what I am. I know for sure, however, I'm asexual. The thought of any person doing anything inappropriate with me just made me shudder. My Mother told me that the only way that I would move out of our house was to get married. I tried to imagine myself getting married and I just... couldn't. Maybe one day, I might find someone I love. But for now, I'm happy just the way I am.
