So basically, for the longest time I was totally convinced that I was 100 percent straight. No doubt in my mind. I couldn't picture myself ever liking another girl as "more than just a friend" let alone be in a relationship with one. Then, a few years later when I transferred to a new school, that viewpoint changed for me. Basically, there was this girl in a few of my classes. I thought she was kind of wierd. Later on in the year though I got to know her more and we became super duper close friends. But soon, I noticed something. I was starting to have different feelings about her than I did with my other friends. A feeling I had only had about guys. I was a bit freaked out at first, like why do I feel like this but I eventually came to terms with my feelings and started to learn more about myself. Long story short, I now identify as a proud polyromantic. That one small crush really just helped me discover more things about myself and I am so thankful for it.
