Hi, my name is Trinity and the way I found out I was aromantic was weird.

*Cue cliche flahsback line* I am raised on the belief that everyone deserves to find love no matter their sexuality. My moms an OBGYN which is a kind of doctor that delivers babies. Me and my brothers learned from a very young age what the parts were, how a baby was made, and stuff like that. We also learned what being gay, bi, straight, and trans was. But that was kinda it. If we asked I'm sure they would have told us or if they didn't know looked up what else there was to LGBTQ+. I learned what queer and asexual meant from, drum roll please, BUZZFEED!!!! Hooray!!! Now this is when I was like 10 and didn't really care that much.Fast forward to 8th grade, what I'm in now, in like January I think. I had started to feel a bit weird that I had never had a crush before. I had always lied when someone asked and said a random person. I was casually scrolling through the Instagram explore page, like you do, and I saw a tumblr screenshot that said "if you are ASEXUAL, you do not experience SEXUAL ATTRACTION. if you are AROMANTIC, you do not experience ROMANTIC ATTRACTION." I was like hold up. This is me!!! All of a sudden like a thousand voices were saying I'm aromantic in my head. So I obviously went to google to confirm. I decided to look up "am I aromantic quiz" I took some quizzes and it said yes. I had discovered wattpad previously on my search for a septiplier story(best ship ever hop on it now) and so I went there and looked up some lgbtq and aromantic books. I started reading them and at the same time it was like my mind had been blown and then remade with this new up to date version of myself. I discovered there was an asexual spectrum and now I know a whole dang lot. I recently discovered I might be asexual I'm still figuring that out. I also made a book, I'd appreciate it if you checked it out.

It's called Ew No.

Thanks for reading,

-Trinity
