These three simply words caused the members of Mi Tian Huan's bloodline that are within the crowd to tremble as the bitterness that they feel towards this entire situation comes pouring out from their heart.

Clasping his hands together Mi Tian Huan bows deeply towards the direction of Mi Shenling who raises a sigh of pain.

Mi Shenling's voice that carries a deep sense of sadness causes Ye Gui Feng's heart to hurt painful as the emotions of Mi Tian Huan bleeds into him.

The figure of Yao Nie Tian overlaps with the figure of Mi Shenling in Ye Gui Feng's eyes causing him to think of the man who he had called father in this world.

"I don't wish for this situation to have come to this."

As Mi Tian Huan stands up Mi Shenling says these words with a tired tone of voice. He had done everything that he can to prevent this situation from coming to pass but in the end it had happened almost as if it had been inevitable.

Within Mi Shenling's heart there is sadness and there is also hatred and self-blame. His sadness comes from having to face his disciple under these circumstances. His hatred is pinned onto Exalted Celestial Yongheng Zi for his imperial decree. And his self-blame comes from his own inability to do anything to stop this entire situation that he finds to be utter nonsense.
