Judging by the unevenness of the wound it looks to have been cut using a rough blade, almost as if it had been done using a claw.

The demonic Qi within this black wolf's body categorizes it as a demonic beast rather than a magic beast.

Due to how low the cultivation base of the black wolf is he is still incapable of proper communication.

In the Lightning Beast's case he can transmit his thoughts to a certain degree but he had never been taught to speak in a tongue that can be understood by demons. Most likely that is the case for all the beasts that had been raised in Long Feng Zi's domain on the Primordial Continent of Immortals.

The black wolf looks in the direction of the misty valley with an eye of yearning.
