Story of a World's End

As the female practitioner with the scythe raises her head she immediately starts to close the distance between Ye Gui Feng and herself.

The amount of time that it takes for the enemy to close this gap might as well be instantaneously as Ye Gui Feng backs away quickly to avoid the blade of the scythe that is swung out.

The situation is somewhat awkward for Ye Gui Feng who didn't have a weapon to defend himself with.

Although he possesses the body of a Celestial Spirit Ye Gui Feng didn't dare to clash his bare fists with the enemy's scythe as he has a feeling that the weapon will readily slice his hands off with ease.

Despite having a slender set of arms the female practitioner has no trouble swinging the scythe around as her attacks flowed from one swing to the next in a natural manner.

With each swing of the enemy being delivered in a swift and precise manner Ye Gui Feng sees no openings to take advantage of as he is forced to dodge continuously.

[Uh?]

Just as Ye Gui Feng is thinking of recalling the Ancient Immortal Spear the enemy backs away.

The unusual amount of distance that the enemy has decided to maintain is something that causes Ye Gui Feng to frown.

The thought of retreating crosses Ye Gui Feng's mind but the moment that it did five stone gates manifest to surround him.

[What is this?]

Each of these stone gates opened in the next instance and from within these gates a powerful force of suction pulls upon Ye Gui Feng from five different directions.

As the doors of the gates opened wider this powerful force of suction increases!

Momentarily it felt almost as if there are a total of five hands pulling onto his body.

The image of a person with ropes wrapped around their limbs and neck appeared in Ye Gui Feng's head for a brief instance under the circumstances that he is faced with.

Within that image the other ends of the ropes are attached to horses.

To be torn into five pieces, should the pulling force that comes from within these gates continue to increase that might very well just be Ye Gui Feng's fate.

Despite wanting to escape from this situation Ye Gui Feng isn't capable of movement as he is trapped into place.

To make matters worse a shadow has appeared above him and raising his head to look up with a bit of difficulties Ye Gui Feng sees the figure of Xuan Nuo charging down at him from the corners of his eyes!

Upon Ye Gui Feng blinking his eyes once a gauntlet of dark steel fills his vision and in the next instance a sharp sense of pain hits his face!

This single punch from Xuan Nuo throws Ye Gui Feng out of his imprisonment but it had also sent him flying backwards!

*Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!* rapidly Ye Gui Feng's body pierces through a number of asteroids that had been behind him until he crashes onto the grounds of a barren planet!

[Kuh...]

Peeling himself off the ground Ye Gui Feng stands back up with blood running down his head.

[...!]

There wasn't any time for Ye Gui Feng to catch his breath as the stone gates from before reappears to surround him on all sides.
