A silence that will seemingly last for an eternity looms over a world that is cut off from the mortal planes.

Within this world there are five towering pillars standing at its center.

Amongst these pillars the fifth pillar that is located at the far right is noticeably shorter than its peers by a large margin.

Carved onto the white surface of these pillars are a series of spiraling lines that would probably remind someone of something should they examine it closely.

The tip of these pillars are rounded with a plate of some kind covering them on one side. Etched upon the surface of these plates using vivid black ink is a single character that originates from an unknown language.

Throughout this world one can always see a collection of sutra like scriptures floating about at random.

The complex characters used to create these walls of scriptures are from an ancient language that used to be the common tongue of the mortal planes many eons back.

If someone of the modern era can decipher these scriptures they would be surprised to discover that every single one of these scriptures is a detailed recording of a person's history from birth to death.

But if it was only this much then it wouldn't be anything worth mentioning.

What's truly surprising and unusual is the fact that these scriptures are constantly being updated even till this day. Every so often a new row of characters that describes an important event relating to the person that's being accounted for would be added to the bottom of these recordings.

At the same time a new series that's meant to record the events of a newly born individual is made with each second's passing.

Odd and unusual, that would be one way to describe the existence of this world when taking the existence of these self-updating records into account.

*-!* just as one might think that the tranquility of this world is going to continue an unusual phenomenon occurs.

Amongst the infinite number of scriptures there is one in particular that is currently giving off a fiery red glow as a new line of text is being added to it.

But just as the recording of information is about to be completed the invisible brush that is held by the hand of the unseen writer halts.

*-!!!* with the brush's pause an ominous air of vile intent exudes from the scripture.

*Whooooooo.........* the appearance of this vile air causes a cold breeze to howl and the moment this breeze passes by the scripture the entirety of it flickers like the flames of a candle.

Following this incident another unusual phenomenon is set off almost as if the previous incident had triggered it.

*Th-... Thu-...* it wasn't very clear at first but-

*Thum-... Thump...* gradually a sound that is similar to the beatings of a person's heart can be picked up.

Accompanying the sound of steady heartbeats is a tremor that shook the entirety of this world and with each heartbeat's passing this tremor would increase in strength.

Should one pay close enough attention to the five pillars that are standing at the center of this world then they notice a small bit of movement from them.
