Falling into the Tricks of Another

Without Ye Gui Feng realizing it the entirety of the planet that he resides on has begun to move.

From every single sect or household all those with a True Immortal realm of cultivation would emerge out of their secluded cultivation areas at the receival of a jade slip that contains the details of the Yao family's divine ancestor being an enemy who had come from the outside world.

The orders within the jade slip is for every single person who had received them to quickly come to the domains of the Wei and Chen family.

At the receival of these jade slips and reading through the orders that is within it every single person who just found out about the news widen their eyes in a dumbfound manner.

However, none of them had any choice in the matter as these jade slips had come from the highest orders of their sect or household making it so that they have no choice but to head to the location that is shown on the jade slip with the fastest speed that they can muster.

Almost instantaneously the skies are filled with numerous streaks of light that are converging onto a single location being the domains of the Wei and Chen family.

Constricting his eyes while maintaining his form as the will of Shen Fu Zi's world Ye Gui Feng's expression gradually turns dark as he keeps an eye on the rotating cauldron.

All that remains in the cauldron at this time is the body of Wu Gongchen's clone that's been reduced into mist.

However, this white mist refuses to condense together regardless of how high the flames' temperatures are or how fast the cauldron rotates.

By now all of Shen Fu Zi's incarnations have returned back to their original positions and sat down in a lotus position with their eyes closed.

The last time that Ye Gui Feng had done this the mist would condense together but this time around for reasons unknown to him this white mist has failed to do so.

[Is it because the flames aren't powerful enough?]

Realizing that his experiment will fail once more Ye Gui Feng sighs in frustration as he stops the cauldron from rotating. The limit of his flames might very well just be the key factor that is holding him back.

The reason Ye Gui Feng had chosen to use Wu Gongchen to do this experiment once more had been out of curiosity to see if it would take more effort to refine someone with a stronger Dao heart, hence a stronger Dao will.

The results this time around leans more towards this theory of a stronger Dao heart means a stronger Dao will, which makes it so that more efforts are required to refine them but there is simply not enough sample for Ye Gui Feng to draw a proper conclusion.

Looking closely into the cauldron that's ceased to rotate Ye Gui Feng is surprised to find a soul hidden amongst the white puff of mist that's starting to dissipate.

Waving his hand Ye Gui Feng pulls the soul towards him and upon seeing the soul that is in a sealed state he frowns.

Upon doing so Ye Gui Feng found out that this soul had belonged to none other than Chen Dao Ling.

Looking through Chen Dao Ling's memories to discover that the Wu Gongchen he had just refined is but a clone created from the destruction of Chen Dao Ling's body Ye Gui Feng's expression gradually turns cold.

[Heh Wu Gongchen I'm impressed by how cautious you are.]

Crushing the soul of Chen Dao Ling Ye Gui Feng has his body return back to normal and appears on top of a somewhat emptied landmass. At the same time the giant cauldron vanishes.

"*Sigh* I suppose it's time to stop this war and make that Wu Gongchen know how it would feel to be the target of an entire world's anger."

Holding a jade slip in his right hand Ye Gui Feng smiles. This jade slip contains all of his interactions with Wu Gongchen and with this he will be able to frame Wu Gongchen as an enemy of this world when heading out to spread the news.

At that time there won't be any place for Wu Gongchen to hide or run to.

"Heng, heng, I've finally managed to trick someone that's basically a Dao Paragon. Henceforth I am basically the number one expert in the arts of trickery."

Waving his left hand Ye Gui Feng draws up a projection of the outside world and upon seeing an image of the outside world-

"....................................Wh-What is this...!?"

Widening his eyes Ye Gui Feng gasps in astonishment as his expression changes drastically to see the number of individuals who had appeared in the domains of the Wei and Chen family.

The number of people that are there is fine and all but what causes Ye Gui Feng's heart to skip a beat is the common expressions of anger on these people's faces.

Looking at all of these people Ye Gui Feng can instinctively feel that they are all united despite their differences of origin.

Judging by their clothes some of these individuals had come from sects while others had come from cultivation households.

Looking at the expressions of anger on these people's faces Ye Gui Feng can't help but think of them as a pack of wild wolves that are ready to rip their prey apart the moment it shows up.

Considering how all of them are looking towards the corpse of Shen Fu Zi-

"Th-They're... Thinking of killing me?"

A feeling of bad premonition wells up in Ye Gui Feng's heart. He has a feeling that he had just narrowly avoided a landmine by checking out the situation in the outside world before heading out there like a pig that's willingly walking into the slaughter house of meat butcher.

Amongst the enraged crowd Ye Gui Feng sees Wu Gongchen who is explaining about something to all of these people who had just arrived.

The individuals who Wu Gongchen is explaining something to listened to him while occasionally giving nodding as an expression of diligence appeared on their faces.

At the same time Ye Gui Feng also finds Yao Ming Zhu and Yao Zhen Tian looking towards the corpse of Shen Fu Zi with worried eyes of concern.

All of these things caused Ye Gui Feng to draw in a deep breath of air as he subconsciously takes two steps back and falls onto his butt.

All of a sudden Ye Gui Feng felt as if the entirety of the world had just become his enemy causing his scalps to turn numb.

With a dumbfound look on his face Ye Gui Feng moves the projection's eyes to look up into the skies.

"..."

Seeing more and more practitioners coming into the domains of the Wei and Chen family caused Ye Gui Feng to feel as if there is a giant blade hovering over his neck. This blade is something that will most likely fall onto him the moment he decides to head outside of this world.

"...Heh..."

A bitter smile breaks on Ye Gui Feng's mouth.

For the first time ever Ye Gui Feng has found himself having fallen into the tricks of another.
