YaNdErE jOoTs

It was your favorite day of the year, your birthday. Nothing could bring you down today, not even Jotaro's especially foul mood. For some reason, your friend seemed more on edge today, which was quite hard to accomplish.

"Jotaro!" You called his name in a sing-songy voice as you caught up to him walking to school.

"What do you want?" He responded in a cold voice.

"Guess what day it is!" He looked down at you with his usual pissed expression. "Come on, have some fun just this once!"

"Give me a break. Please don't tell me you're going to be more annoying than usual." Normally, you could just brush off his cold words but they were extra harsh today; it really hurt.

"Fine," you mumbled and walked ahead of him, trying to ignore his existence. You weren't about to let his remarks ruin your special day.

Pretty soon, you ran into your other good friend, Noriaki Kakyoin. You sometimes called him Kekyoin or just Kak for short. He never really understood the nicknames but loved them all the same.

"Good morning (Y/N)!" He called. He looked down at you with his perfect violet eyes.

"Morning Kakyoin! Do you know what day it is?" You asked excitedly. You hoped that at least one of your friends cared enough about you to remember your birthday.

"How could I forget? Happy birthday, (Y/N)."

His soft voice reminded you of trees on a hill, the leaves softly blowing in the breeze. Or maybe that was his hair noodle. He rummaged in his bag for a second before pulling out a small canvas. You took the canvas and saw that it was a small portrait of you. It was beautifully made, you wondered when he had time to make it and if he had a reference. You blushed at the thought and hugged him in thanks for the wonderful present.

"It's your birthday?" You heard a scoff from behind you. You recognized it as Jotaro's and saw Kakyoin shoot him a nasty glare. You reluctantly turned to face him.

"Well, yeah. It is," you mumbled quietly. The tension in the air was thick enough to cut, and it didn't make you feel any better. He grabbed the painting from your hands and inspected it closely.

"What the hell is this?"

"Jotaro, don't!" It was too late. He tossed aside the small painting and stepped over it as he stalked away from you. "What the fuck, you bastard?!" Tears stung your eyes as Kakyoin held you protectively. You felt something cold and borderline homicidal coming off of Jotaro as Kakyoin wrapped his arms around you.

"It's alright (Y/N)," the cherry haired boy comforted you.

"T-the painting."

"I can always make another one," he cooed. He pets your hair softly and picked up the broken canvas. He sighed and deposited it in a nearby trashcan. He gingerly took your hand in his and smiled down at you. "We'd better get going."

---------------------

Kakyoin led you to your classroom and gave you a quick kiss on the forehead before he left for his. You gathered your courage and walked in, quietly slipping into your seat next to Jotaro. He didn't say anything to you for the rest of the day. Usually, he would open up a little during lunch but there was nothing today. He did seem very protective of you though. When Kakyoin came by he sat in front of you and started talking as if you had been in mid-conversation.

--------------------

The end of the day came sooner than you expected. Everyone fled as the last bell rang, except the few students that were needed for cleaning duty. Jotaro leaned on the desk beside yours. He must've gotten impatient as he slammed his fists on your desk.

"Jotaro, what is wrong with you today?!" You stood in outrage as soon as everyone had left the room.

"Let's go." He grabbed your bag and your hand and led you out of the room. He quickly pulled you through the school and turned to the back. He pressed you up against the wall and dropped your bags.

"Jotaro, what are yo-." Your protests were muffled as he crashed his lips into yours, threading his fingers through your hair and pulled you close. You trashed in his grip but he held you tight. When he finally pulled away, he stared down at you with lust-filled eyes. It scared the hell out of you. "Let me go! Let me go!" You writhed in his hold and finally managed to push him away.

"What, woman? Did you not like your birthday present?" Tears stung your eyes. That was his idea of a birthday gift? You slumped against the wall and rummaged around in your bag for your phone. You flipped it open and started desperately typing in Kakyoin's number. You were interrupted when Jotaro tore it out of your hands and threw it across the yard.

"N-no!"

"Don't try that again, do you hear?" You choked back a sob as he leaned in close.

"Why are you doing this?" You whimpered.

"Because you're mine. Only I can have you," he paused, "because I love you, (Y/N)."

"If you loved me you wouldn't be doing this to me!" You spat. How could he say that? You took a deep shaky breath and pressed your hands against his chest, standing with him. You pressed your lips to his, parting them slightly. You nearly gagged when he took the signal, but you needed to distract him somehow. You quickly pulled away with a gasp and spit on the floor before turning and sprinting away. You knew you couldn't outrun him so you darted for your phone, picking it up before quickly running towards the school entrance.

You were right about not being able to outrun him. He had nearly caught up in just a few paces. You screamed as loud as you could, in hopes that someone would come to investigate. You quickly punched in Kakyoin's number.

"Hey, (Y/N)!" His cheery voice gave you hope as it rang through the receiver.

"Kakyoin where are you?"

"(Y/N), are you alright?"

"No! I need you, where are you?!"

"Wait, calm down. What's wrong?"

"I'm at the school come quickly!" You felt a strong hand on your shoulder as you hung up. You fell forwards onto your face, wincing and your palm hit the ground at an awkward angle. White hot pain shot through your body. You tried to scream but a hand was clasped over your mouth.

"That was risky. I would think twice before doing that again." That was the last thing you heard before everything went black.

--------------

You woke up to an awful headache. It felt like someone had driven a rail spike through your head. You tried to cry out but your voice was gone. You looked around and saw that you were in a neat, light-grey room. You looked over to the corner where there was a shadow. Was that a... wait. Green gakuran + Bright red hair...

"Kakyoin." his name came out as barely a whisper. When he looked up you saw bruises and cuts all over his beautiful face, what had happened? He rushed to your side, tears streaming down his prominent features.

"(Y/N), you're okay! You're okay. It's alright now."

"Kak, what happened?"

"I'll tell you later, all that matters is that you're okay." he pressed a chaste kiss on the corner of your lips. "You're mine now, I'll never let Jotaro hurt you again. Okay?"

"Okay."

A/N: Oh boi, this has been sitting in drafts for at least a couple months now. I don't think I've ever written something so ooc... oh well.

Oof is all I have to say for this, I'm sorry for making y'all read this.
