Your keys jingled sweetly as you bounded up the steps to your front door. Your porch was small, but just right for those early Sunday mornings when the birds would sing your favorite tune. Those Sundays when you would sit in the sun with your husband and share tea and the neighborhood gossip. You smiled as you opened the door, warm memories of your darling in your mind.
"Hey honey," You called as you hung up your coat. You kicked off your shoes and walked through the entry to the parlor. Prosciutto sat in his favorite chair, a book in hand.
"Hello, love," he greeted you with a smile, "how was work?"
"Same as everyday, I suppose." You leaned over to set your briefcase near the end table when you heard a rustling behind you. You turned back to Prosciutto, staring down the barrel of a colt new service revolver. "Ah, darling-" The last thing you heard was his chuckle as he pulled the hammer back and fired.
