Staring at the blank page, he couldn't seem to find the words to express himself. Stories of epic proportions swirled through his brain in intricate patterns, but he just couldn't write even a single word down.
If it hadn't been for the existence of music, he might have been stuck in the purgatory of writer's block forever.
Humming to sweeping melodies and legendary lyrics, however, the right words came to him much easier than they ever had before. Some songs lent themselves to fantastical tales, others more to stories of science.
But they all breathed life into his carefully created plots.
Author's note: I have many sources of inspiration at this point, but music remains one of the most important ones. What inspires your writing?
