It is never too late to start, I remind myself as I tremble slightly in front of the lit up screen.
But it is most certainly a daunting task ahead.
My fingers start tapping away, anyway. And as I start threading my story, my nerves start to ease, only to flare up again when I least expect them to. It's a unique experience, a mixture of being at my most comfortable and most vulnerable at the very same time.
But lots of consumed coffee and sugar later, I have a finished novel sitting in front of me, and I know it has all been worth it.
