She was so very, very cold. So cold, in fact, that she was sure she was shivering right down to her bones. And just when she thought she was never going to be warm again, the most wonderful thing happened.
An old, rattling car pulled up beside her, and a woman got out. A woman whose friendly, open face she recognized in an instant.
Before she knew it, she was inside the car, driving towards what she assumed were warmer places still. But what warmed her most of all, was the reassuring smile of the woman sitting right next to her. It was thawing her frozen heart.
