Even in a world this high tech, discovering and exploring the limits of your powers could prove to be dangerous.
There were many instances reported of almost explosive new manifestations of superpowers, in people who up to that point had no idea they were gifted with them at all.
Those powers grew steadily in the damage they could deal, worrying the entire world population. What if the first person with a superpower that posed a global threat, was also one that discovered it suddenly? What would it be, and what would it mean for the rest of the world?
They were about to find out.
