47. Perfection

Even though she knew there was no way to ever achieve perfection, the writer still tried to, sighing in front of her computer screen. As she fidgeted in her chair nervously, she cursed herself for the thousandth time for thinking she could pursue this passion in the first place.

She knew she would never give up, though. And so she started yet another round of editing, correcting mistakes and reworking flaws as she went.

In the end, the book never got much recognition. That wasn't all that mattered, however, as its author still felt pride burning in her chest every time she looked at it.
