As the entire town had seemed kind of... sleepy, she had only entered the village pub as a last resort. And immediately, it had become clear why the rest of the town had seemed so empty.

There was a band swinging in the corner, and the clients beat their mugs of ale down on the table to the rhythm of the song, resulting in puddles of alcohol splattered on the floor. In little smoky corners, dwarves mingled with elves, and orcs fraternized with goblins. A half elf was swinging from the chandelier overhead, and someone was feeding scraps to a baby dragon underneath the table.

This place was certainly to her liking.
