For years, he had never felt a sense of belonging, not even the faintest sliver of it.
Under the unlikeliest of circumstances, however, he had found himself a surrogate family. A family that surpassed his own at making him feel at home.
They trusted him, and liked him for who he was, both his loveable side and his deep dark secrets.
More than that, he found that he didn't hesitate for a second before jumping into the breach for them. They seemed to instill a courage in him that he had never known he possessed.
Who could have known, that a band of misfits such as them, could build a home together, wherever they went.
